I'm not ashamed to admit that the first several minutes of this movie, I thought it was real people! That tells you how good these graphics are. I'd love to see more CGI movies like this. Animation has come so far!

I could easily tell it was CGI but it was still good. But I wouldn't say I couldn't tell...it was fairly obvious - not sure if you were watching on a decent tv?

Same honestly I was so confused at first cause it was late and dark and I was just not processing at first but man do I love it

This animation is just incredible. Realistic enough that it allows for the nuances of human expression, but still stylized enough to have a unique feel. Would love to see more films done in this style but I imagine it’d feel like a novelty to many general audiences and the style would overshadow the actual story in their mind, which is kinda what happened with A Scanner Darkly.

My wife is hard of hearing and the animation was so good that she could lip read the dialogue. That's like unheard of with animation.

if you were wondering where the original song is from it's from the Balkan group called "Colonia" and the song is called "tipicno muski" so if you want to hear the instrumental just search for it.

Honestly, this song adds a whole other LEVEL of culture to this world. Most of the time, fictional cultures get a dialect of speech, basic fashion, and maybe some food styles. So much of culture is overlooked in these types of things, which I understand, but it doesn't give as much of a sense of reality to the fictional culture. Adding popular music, unwritten rules of society, and some slang brings a whole new sense of reality to a fictional universe, even if magic exists there.

This has to be my favourite song from this film

Best song in the XV serious so far. The Kingsglaive movie was amazing. When I first played FFXV I wondered what happened to Insomnia

No. Noctis and Luna saw each other for at least 5 years when she took care of him after his accident, before getting separated Nyx and Luna saw each other for less than 1 week.

SasuSaku NoctLuna not quite 5 years. Noct was 8 when he was hurt by that demon and last time he saw Luna before Altissia. I would guess he spend several weeks in Tenebre before the Empire attacked. On the other hand they did keep in contact via a notebook thanks to Umbra.

I love this song!!! I can never get it outta my head nor stop playing it on repeat in the game!!!

I loved how this game subtly incorporated the classic final fantasy mage colors. You have the Lucis royal family which uses elemental/destructive magics wearing black and the Fleurets who use healing/support magics wearing white. Black mages and white mages.

@Luna S Difference is that Nyx was quite literally being turned to ash, and he was a very long distance from anyone who could have possibly saved him at the time. All bets are off, sad to say... And it saddens me because he had more personality than Noctis ever showed and thus would have made a much better main protagonist. At least that's what myself and several other people I know personally believe.

Honesty all fantasy and science fiction films should be done in 3d animation of this level it just looks amazing this way ultimately a lot cheaper think how much money the studios would save not having to rely on big name actors and stunt doubles and retakes, food service and extras

michael adkins the soundtrack is available on iTunes. Its about 2 discs worth of tunes (with this included naturally!), and roughly 2 and a half long altogether. I think its about 20 bucks, though I could be wrong with the price; its all worth it though!!

Everybody saying they stole this music. If they had stolen the music from Colonia then they would have gotten sued for it. But they never did. Which means they got Colonia's permission to use it.

Yes, we know. And before you say it's "copied", did you ever stop to think that maybe they got permission from Colonia to use their music for this song? More than likely they did. Because if they didn't then Colonia would have sued them. But they never did, which means these guys got permission from Colonia.
