one thing i will say is that people who never played 358/2 are truly missing the best version of the sanctuary opening. The conversation at the beginning and dialogue mixed throughout with all the information on screen flying at us just sort of FULLY immerses you.

Looking pretty cool so far. Just so you know, the beeping sounds from Dark Thorn will happen on plenty of things if the game starts having a little too much RAM consumed. Sound data tends to be one of the first things that start messing up if too much is going on, so just keep that in mind as you keep progressing. Good luck!

​@@RicardoCon94I call shenanigans on that! They literally had all the resources to make it possible with the other games. All they had to do was reuse those assets for most of Days as only a handful of stuff needed to be made from scratch

A dark realm system...pretty good idea. If you're lookin' for a more interesting backdrop for it, I'd say the backdrop of Betwixt and Between with a darker color palette could be a good choice. Or perhaps Xemnas' final boss arena with a similar dark realm color scheme. That aside, I do hope you manage to hit your target completion date, whether on your own or with a team to help take some of the load off your shoulders. You got a great thing goin' here, and I'm eager to see more in the future. Don't let anything get you down, and always remember that people are rootin' for ya. Also...in life, it's not about the money, but the Mets baybeeeeeeee

358/2 days was actually my first kingdom hearts game and arguably one of my favorites, I really hope you get to finish this! That being said this is a really big project so please remember not to stress yourself, take your time.

update: if this gets online multiplayer or some form of netcode to do it. im 10000% downloading this once its fully up n playable. we NEED a co-op kh game and days was the only one with local in the ds version if this gets online co-op you are the best kh modder in the world to me good sir!

This looks a bit rough, but that’s to be expected. A few of my main concerns include the animation extraction and conversion, as 358 isn’t exactly easy to work with, nor well documented. I know someone who has explored the games inner workings in the hopes of modding it but success has been minimal. I’d be happy to refer you to them. Otherwise, a few other concerns are the DS models being far too low-poly for a PS2 game. I’d volunteer to assist, but I’m involved with another KH2 project atm. In addition to low poly models, the animations are unlikely to be as complex as the PS2 animations and skeletons, but the main concern would be transferring them to existing KH2 rigs and adding additional bone movement to any parts that aren’t animated by the DS Animations. Otherwise my only other critiques or concerns stem from how the Rendered Cutscenes are squished (they’ll be stretched to widescreen so it’ll likely be okay, just something to keep in mind), and how the Health bar looks, which to me feels like while faithful to the original game, could be difficult to implement. As an aside, I do have an old HUD for Roxas I redrew if you’re interested I seeing it or using it as it is redrawn mainly from the 358 art like the other DS portraits. Anyway, good luck with the mod! Looking forward to its future progress!
