@@nickn7939 likely not, they are very confident on this and have said there wouldn't be a push back of the release date, they said the game is essentially done, it runs on 60fps on PC but hasn't hit 60fps yet on console, plus this kind of thing isn't what "indie" studios do especially when they're trusted like that, they wouldn't risk losing a lot of popularity

Highly suggest you play the first one. One of the most immersive medieval worlds ever made, great combat system, and just great gameplay mechanics all around. Can't recommend it enough, even all these years later

​@Loz8900 it truly was a labour of love. It was riddled with flaws, but you can look past that when you see the sheer level of detail the devs put into the world as a whole. You can tell they really cared, the gameplay is tough and the grind is rewarding. It's truly one of most favourite games ever

The first one definitely proved that you don't need a ton of fantastic elements or anachronistic worldbuilding to make a RPG compelling.

I am so glad I can have the opportunity to watch Henry grow. From a blacksmith's boy who cannot read, he really became a man who is quite hungry

Really like how Henry has gotten a lot Older and probably significantly better at Fighting. His new look is just amazing, seeing him in Knightly gear with next gen graphics is just perfect

@@Kyle-hi6ff In the dialogue with lord Hans Capon at the end of the game, he talks about the events spanning weeks, which means all of KCD is meant to take place over the course of just a few months.

In one interview they said, these are early guns, they are very basic, not very accurate and they were very hard to reload, so basically you will probably have one shot, because before you reload again, you are dead. Also they said these guns were not reliable and they sometimes exploded when being shot and they suggested this may be even included in the game.

I worked at EB when this original launched in Australia and we got like 2 copies. No one knew was it was prior to the launch day, but on launch online was abuzz about it. Unfortunately we sold out immediately and didn’t get in more copies for weeks.

No, no. Don't preorder. Never preorder. That's a terrible business practice to propagate, it shouldn't even be a thing Support good devs, and WH definitely deserves support, yes; but preordering is not the way to go about it

No. We probably willnt see Hussite wars in KCD2 yet. And those guns existed in Europe decades of years before Hussites wars too. KCD2 will start only 2 days after KCD1.

prague might be too big for this kinda game where every building is modeled and isn't just a background detail. looks like we're definitely getting an actual city this time at least, so that's exciting.

​​@@fenfrostpaws2000honestly I'd recommend easy kcd mod and the mod which allows you to switch between enemies easier. Now, easy kcd doesn't make the game too easy, just a few tweaks which make game far more enjoyable in my opinion. The mods guy above me mentioned are totally optional, imo, been playing without them just fine. These two however are a must.

The first game was so underrated time for this one to show what they are really made of

Bro. now that you mentioned it...I'm having a bad feeling about this game, ya know, in the long run. Like, are the devs going to get axed even if they'll perform well on sales, in the future? Ya know how them corpos be, when they have to cut their losses. Apart from that, Embracer's and Square-Enix's mums about the fate of Sleeping Dogs be making me having a heartache after the buyout too. Fingers crossed, man. I hope this franchise can continue further on, even after this one.
