The funniest thing about this is that people at red dwarf conventions wondered why people were wearing dresses in cosplay thinking they mustve got the wrong place cos theres nothing space themed about it lol

This somehow manages to be hilarious and sinister at the same time.

It's that noise, isn't it. You know the one. It ties the entire scene together. Somewhere between a sneeze and a feral animal cry. "THOOOOOAUH" is the closest I can write it. That noise, plus the perfect facepalm by Craig Charles, it makes for some serious black comedy brilliance.

When Rimmer isn’t speaking in his annoying, weaselly voice, his deeper calmer voice, although insane, is kinda hot.

The music accompanying Rimmer talking about the potatoe King really gives them seem like a very cruel ruler

Love this scene even though I have seen it dozens of times

I think our only hope is the potato king.

I live BritComs and that British Sass! First time I saw RD, long ago on PBS, I was laughing so much that face hurt from smiling. It is a gem. I hope the writers, actor, stage crew, etc. know how much enjoyment they gave to people all over the world.
