This being such a sad but hopeful reprise of the villain theme we associate with him is an excellent touch; it shows how he had such optimistic ideals but became jaded because of how people treated him. Music really is an art form.

It is incredible how sometimes music can say so much about a character

Scarlemagne was, to be honest, my favorite character. He started off as a crazed lunatic who hurt everyone around him, and progressed to sacrificing himself to save the people he loved. It's really touching, and this series has one of the greatest stories I've ever seen. Sad they're not continuing it, but I'm happy it exists. To Scarlemagne!

I would say the same, but my favorite character is Hugo

Hugo/scarlamain was such an amazing character, his growth passed his past was spectacular and his soft spot for his family was so sweet. He was such a well written character. Now imma listen to this and cry in a corner.

Poor Hugo, all he wanted was to be loved, and in the end he was, by everyone. RIP, Hugo, the kindest and greatest mute to have ever lived. The world was cruel and harsh and you were hurt by the pain inflicted on you by people who had never known love (Emilia(!) Still hate her). I love you Hugo, for you will always be somewhere in my heart, protecting those who need help, just as how you saved Kipo. Goodbye. Sorry, it just felt like he was never given the proper send off, Hugo was never really evil, just lonely.

I can't listen to this song without crying after the last episode :'(

Scarlemange from the beginning I loved him he was amazing and I love evil characters for some reason (not Emilie) and it was really heartbreaking when I saw the last episode I burst into tears..

[Spoilers] Hugo was the best character in this show for me. Don't get me wrong, I loved the main cast and I'll never get enough of Jamack & co, but Hugo/Scarlemagne was the one character with by far the most layers. You hate him at first, but once you find out about his backstory and why he has become this way, how much of a good person he really was deep down... you just want to give the guy a hug, really. His sacrifice made my cry and I'm not ashamed to admit that.

When this song started playing as he was saying he’s last words It literally broke my heart I couldn’t stop crying, Rest In Peace our king, Hugo

He was my favorite character, this is my favorite song form the sow.

Hugo Oaks He was born as victim, lived as a villain, and died as a hero. His story is proof that everyone is capable of change for better or worse. But the only way anyone can truly change is if they want to, and sometimes they just need help to do so. Kipo gave Hugo the help and love he needed, and the family he wanted.

Rest in peace, Hugo. You'll always be king in my eyes... 🥺

@@mircho6665 jaja se parece el nombre, esa pelicula es muy buena, es de los creadores de Coraline. es impresionante el trabajo que hay detras de esas peliculas, teniendo que armar los muñecos de personajes y escenarios a mano y moverlos fotograma por fotograma. Es un trabajo muy difícil y tedioso que no se le suele dar el merito que se merece. no se si viste el detras de camara de como se hizo la pelicula Kubo pero deberías verlo.
