Now here me out, after they defeat Belos the draining spell is still active and they have to do a ritual to shut it off which involves a dance and Eda's weird magic corruption. Luz then says "may I have this dance" to Amity. Amity proceeds to take Luz's and and Luz pulls Amity close to her. This is parallel to how Amity asked to dance with Luz at Grom. *They then proceed to dance to Raeda's Requiem and Dana spends all the budget on this scene.*

idk why but i can just imaine the funreal about to end but then the song was never played and your corspe re-awakens and the first thing you say is "BUTTHOLE you dare end my funreal without playing my song" and just run over to the music machine and start playing and then the very second no the very NANOsecond you hear the very first note of the song play your body just drops to the floor and goes back to being dead

As soon I heard this song on the show, I'd hoped someone would be able to make a longer version that did it justice, and you knocked it out of the park. The feeling of tragic beauty from the original is emphasized even more in this version; you did a fantastic job!

Yea! I love this episode! I’m glad we got to see some more of Eda’s past, meet Raine(They and Eda are so precious like OMGosh!), and that Duet!! *chef’s kiss* beautiful!

When I first heard them play this in the woods, I thought it was the most beautiful music I ever heard... Thank you Raine, I hope you are okay, where ever you are...

'Yesterday's Lie' was a good midseason finale which made Camila and Vee really endearing, but to be honest, this episode for me was the real feels-clincher of Season 2's first half; with Eda's empty-nest syndrome and Reine and the bittersweet ending and, of course, the duet.

When i first watched the episode and saw the Bard coven for the FIRST TIME (seriously we NEVER saw a bard witch before this episode) I immediately fell in love with the simple concept of magic having magical properties. It's both sp incredibly beautiful and harmonious, but it's shown to have pretty strong powers, going beyond simply affecting people like you would think a "music magic" would work. It's beautiful and since we haven't seen any other bard, fills me with unanswered questions, all covens have received pretty decent exposition except the Bard coven. I'm so interested in simply saying how this magic affect the world, how it works and it's complexities. Raine is also such an amazing character, they're so sweet and lovable and so amazingly non-binary, they have abilities and you know it, and their relationship with Eda (current or past) are so interesting and I can't wait to see what Dana has to offer us concerning these 2. Eda's Requiem gave me chills on first watch and on most of my re-listen of the song, its so pretty and perfect. Also it's great to think how Eda might still be able to use normal magic outside of glyphs through the Bard's coven.

My theory is that the curse didn’t take away Eda’s powers, just destroyed spells, because you can see the decay like spell circle when she attempted to see if she could use her magic at the end of season 1. While other magic isn’t environmental, so the destructive effect of the curse just leads to no spell being cast, her bard magic has the curse do what it does to her spells and magic, but instead on the environment.

Hey everyone, a year after this was made the finale just got posted. this is one of the very few things keeping me sane

i'm in love with this song and with eda and raine's history

It hit the first notes and I was already crying

I'm litterally replaying it over and over. It is as beautiful as that couple and the end they just must have (Eda is the one that will sabe Rain from Belos, I'm sure of it)

*Listen this when outside is rainning reminds you some memories that you never done*

Out of all the Eda&Raine duet remixes... This is my fav

This show has been doing an amazing job from script writing to the amazing music, and creators like you are making it just that more amazing, absolutely love this and all the emotion in the original is amplified so much here. I love this and am deff subscribing!!

SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE (If you haven't seen it yet, what's wrong with you? Go watch it lol.) I love that when Raine's captured by Goop-los (Goop Belos) they whistle this tune instead of just hanging there silently. The echo in the room is also an amazing small detail. Speaking of small details, the clinking noise that Luz's Titan feet make when she runs on the ice briefly before flying up to Belos on her staff. I thought that was pretty cool. It's only a second or so long but it's there. And one more thing while we're on the subject of sounds, the song that plays between Luz getting her Titan form and the brief battle at the day of unity, to when they fly down towards the Titans heart was just an emotional rollercoaster of a ride. I couldn't help but tear up during the entire thing and every time the music got louder to emphasize a scene I got chills. (which happened several times.) I couldn't have asked for a better series finale and they pulled absolutely no punches with the emotions. That group "bye" at the end almost broke me, like I seriously had to go take a lap after that. God this show was amazing, I hope Disney comes to their senses at some point and asks Dana to come back so they can continue her vision on like Disney+ or something. I totally wouldn't mind paying a subscription fee if it meant I got to see this show come back, a small price to pay for eternal happiness.

This is absolutely stunning..! I'm looking forward for your future work!!
