We call the fish as "Tenggiri" in Malaysia. In my personal opinion, the seared slices are best consumed only after they are left overnight. This means, sear now, eat tomorrow or 48hrs later. It will develop a subtle natural tartness. This makes the seared meat extremely tasty. Don't forget to marinate with MSG before searing. Marinating with tumeric will give an aromatic earthy flavour. The most delicious fish God ever created.

@@arkas6797 Already seared fish does not spoil easily if kept properly. However, if you are adventurous, you may want to try Pekasam or Cincalok or Belacan or salted fish. We love those "spoiled" food just as we love the stinky century egg. If you like, you may try consuming the Sago Worms. They are consumed alive. It is a delicacy in east Malaysia.
