I think you need to get rid of your bad habits especially your forward roll and cockscrew get up. That shit got you killed alot of times which results in you throwing games e.g that flame ruler reina 2nd game you cockscrew get up and she rage art on u. Also rmb when opponent is in red, always rmb they can hit a rage art also so need to be more patient and try not to jus throw out a grab. If you want to go past purples, punishment is a must. Learn some of the punishiable moves for characters thru the replay system. That shit will save your life as even in purples ppl be throwing unsafe shit. So far you are only punishing snake edges and also try to learn duckable strings. Lastly use ffn 1+2 more which is the shove( i trying also) and mids before grabs.

I understand what u saying, but some of these bad habits are basically muscle memory. If I notice myself doing something, I try to switch it up. Also, yes, I am aware of rage arts, and I know when they can occur. That's just me trying to wrap a battle up and being too anxious. I do use the shove when I think about it since it stuns on counter. Believe it or not, sometimes the best way the surprise someone with a throw is when they're caught up in just attacking back and forth. All the stuff you're saying I've heard before and getting rid of bad habits is not as simple as it sounds. That's why they're habits, but I am working on it. I appreciate your input.

@S1thLordB3ast I understand how you feel especially as a fellow king player. That's why fighting games be one of the hardest genre of games to be good at. I think as long u are up to learn and have fun. I think that's all that matters. I think the hardest thing to do in tekken is not to worry abt win rate so much as I'm still struggling to not be as concerned abt winning rather than learning the game. I think if u can weed out some of the bad habits, u can always get out of that rank.

I completely agree, and I am guilty of being more worried about winning over anything. I'm just a very competitive person. However, I am always open to learning new things. It's one of the reasons I enjoy fighting other King players. I say all the time, every loss is a lesson learned. With that said, I'm currently trying to get better with my defense against low attacks because I am dog shit against them.
