A lady I know was born into poverty. She had nothing but bad luck throughout her life. Now in her mid 40s she works every day in a factory and can barely survive on what she earns. The other day she went to the supermarket to buy some food for the week. As she was walking home she saw a homeless man who she has seen many times, living in a makeshift shelter. She saw he only had some rice and so gave him most of what she had bought, eggs, canned fish, etc. She felt such compassion for the old man and just gave almost all she had. And this is a true story, believe me. Real kindness.

Sitting here answering KZread comments I'm being brought back to when Kindness Boomerang first went viral and I would stay up until the early hours in the morning doing exactly what I'm doing now - just responding to people - people I didn't know but that I felt.
