I gave a homeless man $200 on Christmas Eve. The next time I didn’t even recognize him. He had a hair cut, dog food for his dog (so cute) and managed to have enough money to get a job. He now has his own place, works as the manager for a grill type restaurant and hires any homeless people over others. It literally made me cry to see for once, someone else happy. Helping people in need is not only necessary, but it makes this place that we all live on better for everyone. No matter who it is, a homeless person (bum as a lot of people like to call them (how disgusting)), elderly, injured, etc. we all should help them to see another HUMAN happy. Who knows when in life you’ll need it back.🙂🙂

May God bless you three times as much as you gave. My son was someone from the streets. Unfortunately, he died in June last year. I am very sad and now I make food for the homeless and I have a lot of compassion for them. My son said, Mom, someone gave me one. blanket and so God never left him helpless greetings from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

I randomly remembered this video existed and came looking for it. I watched in like 2nd grade when my school counselor came in to talk about bullying and kindness and stuff. I loved this video so much and I'm so glad I randomly remembered it and searched for it. It's so weird to think I still remember a video I watched 8 years ago. Before I watched this video in class, we watched this video about a young man who was bullied really bad to the point he wanted to lose his life. This video almost made me cry also because of that past video. The unit on kindness and bullying was very emotional for use because there are so many people getting bullied so bad to the point they'll either shoot or lose their life Sorry this was long.

This should be played in every school every morning to create a kind future generation.

The first time I watched was in 2011 when I was 15. Now I'm almost 27 and watching this gives me goosebumps. Such a positive memory!

i remember watching this every assembly from kindergarten to 2nd or 3rd grade and i remember it being one of my favorite parts of the assemblys just because i liked the song but watching this now the message this spreads is great and needs to be spread more

That is one of my favorite lines of the whole song!! What I think is great about Life Vest Inside is that we work to inspire, educate, and empower people of all backgrounds to lead a life of kindness. That means that people can actual take action through kindness. Instead of just hoping, waiting, and wishing we can all work to be kind to others. That is how we can make this dream a reality. My teacher in first grade showed me this video and I remember going home and immediately watching it again because i loved it. That weekend I baked a cake with my mom and we went to our local fire station to give it to them. To this day I watch this video every time I’m sad. I love this so much and I always will! Thanks for helping shape our world

I remember watching this like 8 years ago. Brings back memories from elementary school 🙏

Watched it once in class when I was in 6th grade, I’m 20 now and I listen to this at least twice a year when I remember the amount of happiness and hope I get when I hear this beautiful song.

My mom shared me a story when a teacher never got a thank you and so ever since that I have done so much thank you stuff for teachers and people. I love it. I just felt like doing thank you notes and then my choir teacher really needed it that day I handed it to her. It happened to my math teacher as well. I love being kind. I think thats the reason I'm really happy all of the time.

This is what we need from humans. We should fight no more, there will be no more wars, and our children will play… ONE DAY!!!

I love this video so much. I rarely ever comment but if the majority of social media would post acts of kindness content, the world would be a much better place. Even after 11 years, nobody has posted a more organic, subtle, yet so powerful example of what we should be doing every day. Huge credit to the one who chose this song to go along with it. I hope the actors in these films are doing well!

You should never help others expecting something in return or because its gonna comeback to you, you have to help them because its the right thing to do.
