@@akshrags-mindmaze3407 Usually when grenade is throw you are already near explosion time, fuse depend on nade, for example lemon and pear(slang not actual names) should have about 5s and flashbangs have 2s fuse, a bit long time to get that nade and throw it, so usually 2 things are done You throw yourself or nearby humanoid on it to soften the blow, or you run as much you can and jump away making sure your legs are together you are flat on ground, and cover your head and ears with palms of hands. On bootcamp experience for fun they used command "GRENADE!" to make us do that, after 5 times of chain "GRENADE!" "Stand up!" because some shitter can't shut up, its annoying. I am unaware of other methods, sometimes throwing object at it might help I assume, like bag of potatoes probably to catch shards. ALSO FUN STORY I HEARD once in US army as I recall they used to throw nades into barracks as drill, one guy expect throwing himself on it threw it out, drill seargant went something alone ''WHO THE FUCK DID THAT, WHO THREW THAT SHIT BACK'' he took them to office, apparently explained that it was a smart move, but he was supposed to jump on it as part of drill so they gonna pretend like he was really mad and yell at him as he leave.
