An all powerful woman who possesses superhuman strength, superhuman speed, and superhuman stamina, to name a few, and an insatiable lust for blood. Can you think of any lady superheroes who match this description? Probably not, because the person I've described is Kimiko Miyashiro of The Boys, and if you've watched or read anything about the series, then you'll know that the last thing she wants to be called is a superhero. The Female, also known as Kimiko Miyashiro to The Boys' TV viewers, is a bit of a mystery. She was primarily silent throughout the first two seasons of Amazon's cheeky superhero series The Boys. She is known as The Female since she has never been given a name in the comics. The name Kimiko was only used for the TV series to provide the character with a feel and identity, but in the books, she is known as The Female or her full name, The Female of the Species.

It’s such a contrast how the comic has her love violence where as in season 2 she hates being forced to be a weapon. I definitely prefer her in the show with how she really has a sensitive soul while also being a badass.
One thing that comic that did better than the show. Was show the different types of companies and governments who had Compound V or something similar too. Instead of having Vought being the only group to have the Formula.
Frenchie didnt call her "monsier".. he calls her "mon coeur" my heart.
Kimiko, next to Black Noir, embodies the strong, silent type to a T. As the saying goes its always the quiet ones you gotta watch out for. Definitely a good character you can for sympathy for.
Kimiko is badass. And 'The Boys' is one of the best series ever.

Frenchies father in the comics was a valiant and protective father who died in a baguette joust defending his sons honor in which his mother died from the grief of his death.

Nice Video. The comic showed her mother was neglectful, which is how the hungry baby (Kimiko) ended up in a barrel of Compound V residue, which she ate like oatmeal. Her mother was an "airhead" who would sell her daughter for a magazine subscription in the comics. She was borderline feral and ripping off faces when Frenchie showed her Kindness. What happened to those two in the comics was a tragedy.

Kimiko,rocks her relationship with Frenchie,being he is thE only one she trust ,is a great sub plot for the show. Plus both have mysterious backstories... The Boys is great show. Like your channel is great!

Yeah. I do prefer the shows version of the female. In the comics she is just kind of a ruthless killer. Frenchie kept her in check. On the show it looks like he's got her pretty much civilized and she has more of a personality. but like in the comic she just still really loved killing.
i hope monsieur charcutier won't do in the series the same thing he did to frenchy and kimiko in the comics.

Met Karen fukuhara at dragoncon 2021 she was my favorite and my first start into cosplaying was amazing got a selfie and got to ask a personal question “Between kimiko and katana who would win “ and these where Karen words “katana is precise and strategic while kimiko is brute strength and instinct it would be katana” my response was kimiko fear no pain and she tough as nails Still it amazing and fun

Remember katana's sword is magic. It's demonic and steal souls. It's name is soultaker. That's an OP weapon versus just physical power. I think retcons are saying that it makes the wielder immortal now.

Gotta appreciate Ms Fukuhara's range - whether playing Adora/She-Ra's royal/magical BFF Glimmer or the taciturn yet bloodthirsty Kimiko in The Boys
