Kimbo Lands on Moon! - Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve

Kimbo-Living @ Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve in Idaho. We endured a couple days of wind and dust...it gets everywhere lol..but it cleared up and we get to experience this surreal location. I have a little fun pretending to be a lunar lander pilot in the opening then we get to see some very cool bikes....really sick bikes actually...and take walks on the Spatter Cones and Devils Garden Trails!
Enjoy!

I'm behind on Birdphish videos. What are you using for sun and rain protection when prepping and cooking? With all your great gear from the last setup I know you have already come up with a creative solution. I am interested to hear what you are using?

I've got a bushcraft style tarp and a couple tent poles but so far have only used it once...still working on a solution that does not include a mounted awning lol. We've been cooking inside when outside is not an option but haven't had to much. The Kimbo is tall and provides ishade on one side for most of the day except high noon.

@@BirdPhish I think that is where I would start as well. Our family has been using a lot more bushcraft style tarps this season. We had too many run ins with the other canopies, that we went back to what we know and trust.

I'm a big fan of minimalism...the Kimbo embodies that and sort of makes it necessary @@PlayingwithSticks

@@BirdPhish I had a feeling the Kimbo would be a great fit for you. And it doesn't hurt that it films really well. It looks great out there.
