The Lakota Art Studio & Gallery, in the town of Rockglen, is where Kim Soo Goodtrack creates and exhibits her remarkable work.
The gallery is housed in a 1960’s bank building. In it, you’ll also find the work of many other local artists: Sandra Lamontagne, Wanda Knoss, Susan McGowan, Travis Ogle, Sandra Knoss and Neil Jones, to name a few. The art community in Rockglen in clearly thriving!
Kim’s art has been exhibited across Canada. She is also an author, TV series creator, musician and educator, with several books and 91 children’s TV shows to her credit. Her book titled The ABC’s of our Spiritual Connection won the Children’s Choice Award and was featured on Sesame Street.
Through her practice and work as an educator, Kim shares her culture - its artistic wealth and painful history. Her belief is that we must share the bad with the good.
