Monica retired in 2003 but was still getting results until the end. Too bad Steffi decided to retire in 1999.

By your own admission, Steffi Graff, needed to be tall and lanky to win grand slams, yet Marion Bartoli who is short and fat and won Wimbledon grand slam which Kim Clijsters never won, how proud is that? Bartoli is a better player just like how she is and was and Steffi Graff is a close eight to Bartoli as per Wimbledon 2013, Bartoli won without dropping a set is a million times better than Kim Clijsters who didn’t even make it to the Final. And Marion Bartoli is already a million times better than Kim Clijsters by winning 1 Wimbledon Grand Slam. So that makes Bartoli a gazillion times better right. All this is not really true and not really false, except in YOUR mind. Steffi Graf used to drop sets.

It that Robson match, Laura was playing like someone destined for the top 10. It's a shame injuries have essentially finished her career.

She really had potential to be really big, it's such a shame she's not healthy enough to play.

There's only three editions of the US Open covered here-09,10,12. Her last 5performances at the US Open were F W W W 2r. Some amazing matches in 03,05 against Pierce, Sharapova, Venus, Lindsay, Justine. This video could be much longer!

US Open...please please please a new TV camera pespective on the centre court...please like the ROD LAVER ARENA centre court from The australian open.

Commentator once said if Serena wins a grand slam she will be the first mom. Umm Kim's already achieved that

Probably meant a yearly grand slam, ie. winning all grand slam tournaments in a calendar year.

Doubtful any commentator would think Serena would win all 4 in one year after having a kid. Nope.

When she and Justine faced off, those were some of the best matches of this era.

i swear, every time clijsters plays. it's so breathtaking and exciting

Love Clijsters.. BUT that 2010 semifinal match was hard to relive.. That loss for Venus really made me sad.. Venus has lost some TOUGH Matches at the open.. Henin, Clijsters, Stephen's, Williams.. man it's kind of heartbreaking..

Yeah the 2017 semi against Stephens was tough pretty sure she would of won the final against Keys if she had gotten to the finals.....

I dont understand the way Kim choose her career. First time she retired when she was 24/25, second time when she was not even 30. She chose retire soo young. And now she comeback again and honestly I'm so happy. But can you imagine during the span of her 2 retirements period how many slam she can win if she opted play n never retire?

Injury sadly for her but she's still got millions in her bank than I'll ever got :(

From title I thought her service returns will be shown...

the first time i got interest in tennis was around 2005, i was a toddler. I remember seeing her on tv the first time when she won against Schiavone in an all blue indoor court. She looks so mean because her eyes are always glaring. But there is something in her that makes me LIKE her, IDK why. I didn't set to follow her that year, she just keep on winning that's why she's on sports channel, became her fan then. And then Henin came back from her injuries..another story.

She only beat Serena once’s out of 9 times next

Meh she didnt play serena that much and mostly before 2003. Clijsters peaks were 2005 to 2007 and her comeback.

Kim Clijsters: from a generation in which human values like kindness were still a thing, alongside professionalism. S Williams has been strong and great but has always given the impression of being an entitled Oreo, not to mention unprofessional.
