The reply to John Adams and the stare after are the greatest things EVER! Those of us who lived through the Pat Summitt years know all about Pat's stare. Dare I say it, but Coach Caldwell's stare brought me back to that and gave me chills (and then I cheered so loud).

Absolutely perfectly done. There should be no doubt in Adams' mind that Caldwell is NOT scared of him. This woman can be a ball-breaker if you mess with her. Tennessee got a great one.

As soon as I heard about the hire, pulled up some Marshall games on KZread. Coach was being interviewed after they clinched at least a share of regular season title, they scored almost 100 points, while she was waiting for the interview. She was totally stonefaced when the interview started I figured out why, she was still pissed off about how they played in the first quarter. Coach Summit would be proud.

I come from the Hickville of the college sports world. New Mexico State, Texas El Paso and New Mexico don't get mobs buying tickets. Male or female. A coach like Kellie Harper and her NCAA tournament resume would have fans in my corner of the world think that she came directly from the Gates of Heaven if she had that type of record over here. I hope Coach Caldwell gets to at least the 2nd round of the ncaa tournament. She gives me the same feeling of, "God help her," that I feel for Molly Miller of Grand Canyon University. Coach Miller hasn't been able to get to the NCAA tournament after 4 years. She has a great coaching history of success just like Caldwell. She has big shoes to fill.

I like her.

I was happy when they let Holly go, but I was not happy when they let Kelly go. She is saying all the right things, so lets see where this takes us. But I am not convivence this was the right move yet!

i love Kim Caldwell and want this to succeed, but she is gonna have quiet the rebuild, this is one of the top jobs but also one of the hardest, I think we miss the NCAAs this year hope I am wrong (hey at least it aint Holly Warlick again)

tennessee womens basketball reminds me of Nebraska football, UNLV men's basketball, and Arizona St. baseball...used to be good, and now going through Coaches like tampons to reclaim the glory--when maybe one top tier player in a blue moon wants to live in that state.

I'm a Gamecock first and foremost but have always respected UT WBB as a benchmark for the women's game. I must say that the decision to replace Kelly was a total and complete mistake. Understanding that college athletics is on a wheel, she should have been given more time. Best of limited luck to this new lady but your AD is the one who is out of his league. You'll replace him within the next two years with this decision and the inevitable failure of UT football.
