I hope she has great success and winds up being the Lady Vols coach for the next 30 years.

She’s an excellent coach. She recruited and coached my daughter at Glenville State along with her dad (RIP). My daughter moved from Tennessee to West Virginia. She didn’t mind answering my calls and any questions I had with my daughter moving so far away. She made sure my daughter was in good care. Coach Stephens-Caldwell was tough and her team was sure to be respectful and maintain the grades. Under her leadership my daughter has 2 championship rings. Nothing average about her! Best wishes!

Good to hear from someone with first-hand experience. I'm excited for her and for the team. I think she's got what it takes. Overall record of 217-31 ... that's insane!

She wins a D2 national title in 2021 and then goes back to the final 4 with a much different team in 2022. Then she goes to Marshall with pretty the same team they went 14-17 with the year before and then wins the SBC regular season and the SBC tourney and goes to the NCAA. Marshall also got the most wins they've ever had in a single season. She did all of that in year 1 at Marshall. I think she has the energy and moxie to be successful. Her dad who coached her in high school won many state titles in WV. It's not like she woke up and became a BB coach. She's been in BB her entire life. I think she's going to do very well sooner than people think.

Nice lady, she seems to be very enthusiastic and invested in bringing Tennessee women's basketball back to prominence. All of that is great. But she has to do what the last two coaches haven't been able to do. She has to be able to recruit nationwide oon par with South Carolina, Connecticut, and LSU. That will determine her success.

she needs to get some of the former Lady Vols to come with her when she sits in the living rooms of these recruits...and maybe even Peyton Manning.
