Dudeeee, it's no joke for sure. I do a lot of back and forth like this and switching between the techniques is soooo draining after an hour + set...I couldn't imagine doing it for almost two hours. Screaming and singing are so drastically different that if you overdue it on the screams you will harsh out your cleans to the point of where staying in key is not only a major struggle, but can also be damaging on your voice because natural instinct at that point is to really push it until you hit that pitch. The hardest part imo is holding back just enough with everything so that you don't overload your voice and cause damage....But that's really hard to do when you are on stage having all that energy flowing through your veins haha.

Goddamn I can feel the emotion in Jesse's voice here. It's giving me chills

The raw emotion in his lyrics and vocals. You can tell he needed to make this song. And I can tell I needed to hear it too.

So much emotion in Jesse's singing, really dope live performance of this song. One of my favorite and definitely one of the best metalcore bands ever, Killswitch Engage, simply rocks!⚡💣💥🔥🤘

I dont want to go in details what i have been going through but kse helped me a lot staying stable, staying strong, not going insane. Jesse is my favourite. I dont know much about him but i hope to hear him more in future.

@@wmc128 and I agree with you. I was just saying this was not a very impressive gig for Jesse's vocals so I was really shocked the guy who commented thought it was so great. One of the poorer performances I've seen.

I've been watching live footage of this band for a long time and it's one of his better vocal performances. His new voice (blew it out completely recently) is much more accurate on the whole. He's always sung with his heart and not necessarily kept be practice on vocal control and I love it, but his margin of error here is pretty damn good and I'm stoked for this tour cycle. His very first notes were particularly shaky but it's great after that.

I only listened up to the first chorus and couldn't really deal with it. I know he can sing, the 2nd time I saw them they performed recokoning and when darkness falls and holy cow he was amazing. I just personally think this is the worst performance I've heard, so if you think this is better then some dont show me worse lol

I wasn't there sadly but what I see in the crowd is everyone watching through their phones. I blasted this through my PA and watched this footage and now I feel like I was there. lol I don't know why everyone waist so much time recording , there is almost always a pro in the crowd or down front - JUST WATCH THE SHOW - YOU WERE THERE. I wish I could have been.

Well it was going good until the end there where the background decided to totally change the way the song was going you could even see Jesse trying to save it. Not the crowd but those background singers.
