I learned pinch harmonic with KSE hahaha I am 100% sure that I will never see a band which explores it how they do. but a fun fact, back in 2014, they toured here in Brazil with Memphis may fire and battlecross, Both bands were exploring harmonics as KSE does, after that, I had the chance to talk with Adam and asked if he noticed that, he answered me something like the dudes of MMF said to him in the backstage: "we are touring with KSE, so we need to do their harmonics"and then he laughed to me, and as I told before, I said to him that I learned harmonics with KSE, and he said something like at least we"taught something haha" they have no idea that KSE changed my life. love those guys and how friendly they were that day. Now, after 10 years ill see they again in Brazil

In addition to producing and creating all the arrangements for Killswitch Engage's albums, he also plays and provides vocal support for Jesse in a stunning way... this guy is absurd, his singing and soloing techniques are incredible!!! ! Listened to KSE for 20-25 years now...I think they are in the best spot they've been in for at least the past decade. Jesse sounds so much more powerful, his vocals live are so much better than in the past. The instruments are tight as can be. Adam at full strength. Justin in top form. It's wonderful to see them having fun and sounding so good again.

You can tell how much time and effort Jesse has spent on his cleans over the years. My god he sounds like a perfect blend of himself and Howard. Great stuff guys. You'll always be one of my favorite bands.

The band has said themselves that the second self-titled album is the least favorite of theirs for a few reasons - primarily that they were in a pretty bad headspace for most of the recording. If you look for the back story, it was the first time they went to an outside producer (and that experience was so bad they went back to Massachusetts and finished the record with Adam), the relationship with Howard was starting to fray a bit, and you could hear it in both the lyrics and music. So for the longest time, they avoided playing most of the songs live. When I saw them back in 2016, that was the only album they didn't play anything off of.

It's a good album with a few real bangers but some of its other songs are definitely less than inspired.

Jesse these days is sounding impeccable. Rare for a performer singing expert-level songs with screams and shit to sound this good consistently.

This to me seems to be the best Jessie has been. Good for him. I hope hes doing awesome and continues to do so. Love this band.

God damn they sound good! Jessie has really evolved into such a phenomenal front man and vocalist. He's in his prime right now. The band as well. Incredible musicians.

This concert is epic. It’s given me a massive appreciation to how amazing Jesse is. I found KSE when Howard was in and was just blown away by the hugely popular songs that bled somewhat mainstream. I’ve listened to bits and pieces of some of the first Jesse era albums and stuff and it’s great yea. But Howard just had this thing that was undeniable. I wasn’t on team H or J it’s just the era I was introduced to was Howard. This is fucking amazing though and I’m just KSE all through. I can see what some people mean by just how far Jesse has come as a vocalist. Lets just love that this band has had two epic eras. And right now it’s fucking UNDENIABLE.

As amazing of a vocalist as Howard is and the amazing albums he contributed to with this band that blew them into the stratosphere, I will personally say NOTHING beats “Alive or Just Breathing.” That album is a classic!!! Jesse is the man! Now hearing Howard perform those songs, holy moly. The guy takes it to another level, but I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for Jesse because of that album alone.

Awesome singing. Very good control, from beginning to end. The band is very tight. Very Good.

Dude, kudos! This sounds incredible. Obviously the band killed it but you made it possible for us to enjoy and appreciate how great they are. Amazing job!

Was there, can confirm it was fucking wild. Pits, hugs, tears, shouting singing and screaming, beer. Only thing missing was a Howard appearance. I've seen them about 3 times since 2010 with Howard and this was the 3rd time with Jesse, and this one was by far the greatest in those 13 years.

Sounds so freaking good. Love how your mix is always evolving, even compared to some of the previous board audio shows you've posted! Have you tried the Neumann KMS105 on Snare Top? It's been one of my favorite live vocal mics for a while, but I tried it after Nolly started using one instead of the Beta 57 that because the bleed rejection is so unbelievable and the natural sound off of it is really nice too, I've switched to using it 100% of the time if I can trust the drummer to not hit it because it is an expensive microphone hahaha.

Damn Alex, this mix is unreal!

I really got into KSE when Howard was Lead. I went back and heard the earlier work and style was so different to me. It is awesome how they kept such a following with 2 leads that have opposing styles. The collaboration songs are so good BC the Duet is complimentary. Howard can really belt and care notes. Jesse has that sharp scream with Point accuracy in his vocals. Always loved this band.
