One of the absolutely greatest songs to come out of the early 1970's! This brings me back to pre-school days when my mom would drive me around to have lunch with one of her friends. I think Roberta Flack won a Grammy for this song in 1974.

This is the version I fell in love with back in the early 70's, and just learned that Roberta is only one singer who covered this song and while Lori sings it beautifully, I prefer Roberta's version. Thank you for the lyrics Chris, I just learned a few that I never got right back in the 70's.

First time I heard this song I got out of bootcamp and walked into a bar in San Diego and heard a girl doing this song. Vietnam was next on the agenda for me and I never forgot how beautiful this song was or how it spoke to me in that moment and ever since. 1973

When I think about how sangwoo sung this song it gives me this eerie feeling and I’m not entirely sure why... but this song is so beautiful and her voice is amazing

This was a Very Special song to me bc of a Man i i feel in love with that Yes Played Guitar& Song like Paul McCartney. God how i loved him. But i was the 1 that was younger. Hes Dad made Sure We Didnt stay together. This was back in 1984. Here in 2020 , I Still miss my "paul". I still think of Mark with Bitter sweet memories. If Left alone we would have Married & Still be to this day( i know) Bc Our love was Everything it Should have been. Anyways, this is just 1 of a few that takes me back to a Happier timr in my life when Love was Right.....
