Yep, I talked to Larry a few times when he was playing little clubs on Long Island in the late 80s-early 90s, around the time I was taking lessons from John Petrucci. Super nice guy and killer guitarist.

Just found you on YT, excellent, thank you!

What I love about how you play this is that you get such a great tone playing on the lighter strings than if you played up on the 8/10 frets. When you hit the F and Eflat on the b string, it sounds so much better than if you hit them on the larger g string. It gives it a bit of a sharpness that you wouldn't get on the g string.

Back in 1978 I retuned my Guitar to E tuning in order to play Rhythm and Lead at the same time. To this day people I sound like two people playing
