Luan's family settled out of court with Disneyland for unspecified amount of money. The lawyer stated they could have asked for 20 million dollars but it didn't seem to say if that's the amount the family actually got

What a nightmare, that would be. The people that were supposed to be inspecting those cleats are the ones responsible. You think, that pressure and force of a big boat like that, pulling on those cleats, as soon as it would let go, it would fling that 2-foot long, 25 pound cleat at about 60 mph at these people … and the rope, which would have been about 2 inches thick. The rope alone, could have severed heads. It was just lucky that there were only two victims. Very sad story and a very interesting story Harman. Cheers

According to what I read, Christine was an assistant manager who was giving the person in that position a break. She had given breaks before but minimally. The ships captain purposefully over shot the mooring to then back up to the moor(parks the ship to the moor more correctly). She threw the rope too early(lack of proper training). Mrs. Dawson was 43, thus her grandson by blood. Soo very sad🙏. As always, Such a Nice job Harmin, Nice cam work😉.

I was at Disneyland and got stuck on Space Mountain. As the ride broke our car was heading up a rail and stopped when we reached a flatter spot..other cars continued and later stopped, it was scary as I thought they were going to hit us. We were strapped in and couldn't get out of the car. Lights came on and the air-conditioning stopped. it took over 2 hours until a worker came to get us. Along side of the rail that our car was on was a stiff wire with another stiff wire like and hand rail. They had to walk like on a tight rope to each car, unlock the passengers and we all had to tight rope walk down the wire all the way to the ground. The workers cussed at us and were mean. We finally got to the ground and they ordered us out to the rest of the grounds. We didn't get a 'sorry' a free ride, free drink or anything. The whole escape from the ride was 3 hours. We were totally abused by everyone that came to help us. I was told by someone that's probably how they make sure we don't sue. I don't think anyone was hurt.

Originally, a single admission ticket was sold at the park’s main entry gate-for a price of $1.00, including tax!-while tickets for each individual attraction could be purchased at nearby ticket booths"in 1959 the A-E ticket books came out and i believe pryor to that A-C or D cant remember exactly they were great times!
