Yup! The Octarius box was the first thing I received as an early review copy. Since then, I've been absolutely swamped with real life work and have hardly had any time to play the game. This month I should be getting a bunch of games in, so I'm excited to brush up my skills a bit!

@@FMMProductions I feel you to mate. I remember getting my second kid, having to take care of the first one who was still a toddler, renovating the new home and organising the move to it in about a month. Tell you honestly, I have no friggin' idea how I managed that.

When your opponent manages to defend all damage from a very nice shot like the one of the Heavy Bolter (you should have gone with the missile launcher. Just imagine that awesome blast!), spending 1 CP on Veterans of the Long War is the way to go

I'm no painting god like GMG, but I did my best to get at least one of the teams painted and then throw this battle report together as fast as I could for you. I hope it's watchable! Great surprise addition to your Chalnath coverage. Would have been better with a second human though.

Loved this! I really liked the style of delivery, almost like highlights. I love the chaos marines, I leaned towards missile launcher over the heavy bolter, but after seeing this I'm not so sure:) Thanks for the great content!

Well the regular bolters before saves average about 9 damage with bolter discipline you hit 18 this goes to 22 if you have ceaseless Now heavy bolter you averaging 22 on the double shooting with ceaseless you hit like 26 before saves It is very very rare anything surviving getting double shot by the heavy bolter useually 4+ 8 wound models you're popping in a single volley The missle launcher is better against custodes or marines Imo unless you know you opponent will play a super bunched up hoard

Great video. You should do lots of games like these focusing on different aspects that people get confused on. For example I would love to see one with all different types of situations involving obscurity and using the cover line angles and flanking to get around it

I'd love to, of course! It's all about how I can make them consistently.

Sisters look like they will have a bit of a learning curve. To play a melee kill team that has 7 wounds, I am not sure what boon they gain to make up for that disadvantage. Maybe the faith tokens?

I really enjoy bat reps like this.I hope you keep doing them.

Meltaguns have their uses. A Plasma gun isn't always the right answer.

Good vid! What's that bit of terrain with the stairs in the middle of the board? (ie, where did you get it, not what rules does it have). Cheers!

It comes in the sector mortalis plastic terrain from GW. Noe exactly cheap, but hey ho!

A bit late on this, but in turning point three, the CSM Leader would not have been able to charge, fight, and shoot as the whip sister rolled a crit on the previous shooting attack with a stun weapon, giving the CSM -1 APL. Still really enjoyed the video though!

Always love a solo Glass batrep. CSM are such a solid compendium team.

These videos are very informative! It would be great if you did this some more so that we can get a detailed introspective into how other factions play

Gotta admit I much preferred this format to the one on your patreon. Edit: It would be more work on your part but maybe cutting between handicam and overhead (as your two most regular views) and then occasionally cutting to the side on of yourself and Wez (or whomever your playing) is the way to go?

It's a very different vibe. Wes and I were deliberately going for "just a couple of guys playing a game". Very differnet videos, I agree. If I were to add camera switching then honestly I might as well just go back to how I did the old batreps I did and those end up being so much work I don't do them. Sad but true! :(

@@GlassHalfDead I did enjoy the way you shot the one with Wez but I think a couple of tweeks are needed. Turn the overhead camera so its top and bottom (and make it yet up the whole screen) and use less screen space for the pair of you and maybe just switch cam for a the dice roll? Although the green screen effect is pretty cool!

its strange how you didnt use the flamers. burning advance seems pretty good

happy to finally see content, but you really have to even the releases out, if you wanna please the algorithm. the algorithm seems to frown upon big breaks followed by bursts of content.

Definitely! Such is the problem of not only being a noob at the game but also trying to play lots of different teams. I figured people didn't want to see me running my infiltrators again :p

I say close to the start but Google art of war kill team 2021 and they should come up. I'll be doing a proper review in the future

Just for your information the HB damage profile is 4/5 so you did 9 damage on the crit hit round 2 instead of 7 like you would a normal bolter

I can get behind that. SO, if you wanted to really go for it, all of the arms would be a straight swap with the battle sisters box. So just use the battle sisters bodies and heads with these arms. I kind of wish I had figured out I could do that now :P
