HaHa! I cant blame the grp's on this one. I locked up the breaks for about 200 feet. Chewed right through. Flats spots on the other 3 as well. But its definitely Russian Roulette on every pass! it gets my heart pumping!

Can a stock kraton drivetrain handle the TP motors, like 1400kv to 2080kv? Mine does have a HR diff bulkheads F/R but thats about it. Also, do you need to use cap packs with such motors or is that an option for more speed? I'm more of a off road speeder and looking to do 70mph in grass. Also run with a Max6.

yes they can, i run killmode, tp power motors in my car. Doesnt mean it will last like it would if it were stock

What mod 1 gears were you using on this run.

What kind of radio and transmitter are you running?

Can i use 8s on that motor?

I have the typhoon 3s, but only goes around 55-60!!! What brush less motor should I get? I wanna be around 70-75 even 80mph

I hit 76 MPH on my 3s Typhon. Running Hobbywing 3660 4000kv with the xr8 sct esc, and an SMC 150c 3s battery. You'll need a cap pack for speed runs. I used the 27t pinion, however I would recommend a 25t with this setup to reduce heat. If running a small Pinon 15-20 it will not get too hot. Also I only run the Arrma Hoons on the Typhon 3s when I have it geared for the street. If off-road, I would suggest 16t Pinon. Also, you'll want to upgrade the rear diff to the steel hot racing version.

Grps are rated for 100 to 125mph I believe.. Bsr can handle 150mph+

What do u mean by open wheel buggy does that mean no spool locker?

Alex Rc racing that means the tires are exposed. No body shell covering the wheels. Open wheel is much less aerodynamic, so high speeds are more difficult to achieve. Compared to GT

officially the rossa record is like 145.6, but Stephen Guenther has the "unofficial" record. 151 on gps. Dude is a beast!
