Kill Mode RC how do you install the cap bank? in parallel w/esc and battery? solder it to the leads of the ESC or lipo or make a xt60 male to female connectors with the caps in between? which is best?

James Andonian solder directly to the positive and negative ESC leads. As close to the ESC as possible. I will be posting a "how to" video soon. Stay tuned.

How's it goin brother. Been watching some of your vids online here and am definitely a fan of how you solder. I been a certified automotive technici for over 20 years, definitely not new to soldering and welding but I am new to the rc game. I'm currently building 3 rc's and one for my son and was just curious if you think these will help the esc lifespan in long run. Id like to maybe get one eventually for my dual 4s parallel lipo 100 amp esc set up which is getting swapped out soon for 150 amp. Like to try one out on one rc first maybe. Great video bro!!

Hi there,I run a 2s 6700 mah 100c battery with a 4.5 motor for street eliminator no prep drag racing. Will the 3pack be too much for me or do I need a 2pack capacitor pack? Not very knowledgeable on capacitors. Will the speed increase? I run a hobbywing g10 pro 160amp version esc.it has a small 3pack capacitor on there from factory. Thanks for the help in advance.im ready to buy.just not sure what will fit my application

Well it depends on your application, but the 3 pack will work for most setups. if you want, you can email me your setup, and ill let you know what I think.

Capacitors reduce ripple voltage that occur at high rpm. think of ripple voltage as "electrical turbulence" . They also help with voltage sag under high load/draw, and will reduce ESC temperatures, and protect your esc.

Definitely the 3 pack will work. And depending on the dimensions you need, the 4 pack "SQUARE" may fit better if space is limited. Figure out how much room you have and ill let you know which one will fit better.

It smooths out the input voltage to your esc, ensuring the safety of your esc and motor, and helps longevity by reducing heat. Oh, it`s Mobay, shit, well I`ll keep the comment there anyway lol..

Correct, ten one-thousandth is the same as one one-hundredth. Like saying 10mm or 1cm.

A good quality capacitor of this size will run you at least $3 per cap.
