Originally, both Zenkaiser and Zenkai Juran were supposed to be red. But Junko Komura didn’t want two reds on the same team, and suggested changing Juran to green. Instead, they simply decided to make Zenkaiser white.

I heard that another reason that Zenkaiser was made to be white was because a writer wanted him to stand out when shown alongside every other (red) Sentai leader. At least a sizable chunk of the suit is still red, so he can “hang out with the big boys.”

I mean kaito is already green because of his super zenkaiger form but a green zyuran maybe they were gonna change his tyrannoranger theme to dragon ranger but I think it makes more sense for zyuran to be tyrannoranger since dragonranger is 6th ranger

The concept of having a team of robots lead by a human is something that Ishinomori himself did in the 60s, so it's not really all that sacreligious. In addition, it's a brilliant way to get around quarantine measures, which means more bodies appearing in scenes until quarantine was lifted.

I appreciate the more unique nature of this Sentai. The fact it's trying to spice things up in an ANNIVERSARY season is a big risk (as the initial reactions showed) as normally you do it after the anniversary (like Go-Busters after Gokaiger). But I appreciate they took it, it helps the show stand out and give a fresh experience. I genuinely love that they had a whole episode devoted to the idea of "What is Zenkaiger was a 'normal' Sentai?", kind of as a way to show people that we'd just be getting more of the same. There's one thing to be said about too much change being bad, but you can't also keep things going without it. That's why Sentais add new forms, Zords/mecha, and Rangers, to liven things up a bit and keep interest going. And, frankly, I think this gives the brand itself that much-needed interest from general audiences (as the kind of discussions from stuff like that will be seen by just about everyone even close to PR/Toku).

I think this is the first time since Big One that a male non-red ranger has been the leader of a team without being usurped by a red ranger. There were three other series where the leader of the team wasn’t a red ranger but it was always a female member of the team. Those being Ninja White, Time Pink, and Geki Yellow.

While Zenkai Red's gear reads as "Zenkaiger" mostly due to the fact that his gear was promoted as a Telebi-kun special item, I like the idea of how it reads that way and him being the "true" Zenkaiger. Zenkaizer and his Kikainoid teammates look like Extra Heroes and remind me of the scene in the Goseiger vs Gokaiger movie where Akaranger and Big One share a scene together with the Extra Hero. Kaito and his team would have fitted perfectly with that group. The way the Geartlinger announced the teams reminds me of the Mobilates and sometimes Mobilates will separate certain members from the core team, usually additional members as their own unit like Shurkenger and Go-on Wings. The core five have their own name announcement in the changer while four of the members share the same number from the series that they are base off. This makes them feel like additional members to existing Sentai while being part of another team. I am not sure if intentional or not, but I like the idea of Zenkaiger just being this oddball B-team that finally got their series after being in the background as Extra Heroes. A lot of people also compared Zenkai Red to Marvelous and how similar voices are. It would be awesome if Zenkai Red end being an apprentice to Akared like Marvelous and somehow have Marvelous turn into Zenkai Red if they ever do a team-up with Zenkaiger.

Second comment: I feel like it kinda over played "normal" they say if you are human it's a normal team but really teams are unique from each other they don't even say what the teams do that makes them normal besides being human and red being leader but I do understand the message don't judge people based on what they are which is a very good message but nice video dude

This a extra comment was timeranger pink the leader like in time force I'm wondering since if she was why she wasn't mentioned in the dream with the white ranger leaders also how does other rangers fit like red rangers who are "leader due to other reasons" like kiramai red who leader just cause he's cheerful also this a show about people in spandex and for zenkaiger rubber (I think)

Four furries that just cracks me up

I’m glad they decided to shake things up for this anniversary season. I would have preferred the tone be more similar to Gokaiger and Zyuohger with there being a plot that the characters take seriously but the self awareness does remind me of Akibaranger so I just see it as the closest we have to Akibaranger Season 3. That and I would have preferred the Kikainoids have “Cast Off” forms when they morphed similar to Stag Buster or Kamen Rider Kabuto.

What do you all want to see the next super sentai theme?I am interested to see a puroresu theme or they might capitalize on super hero theme(well super sentai is super hero supposedly but they could emphasize on their costume)

i feel zenkaizer is a mix of akaranger and big one akaranger for the helmet and big one for the white with the other colors

I really had no issue about the whole leadership thing and Super Sentai for example in Gekiranger even though Jan had most of the focus in Geki yellow Ran that was the designated leader

This is actually a good Spin-Off and there was originally going to 2 reds in zenkaiger but the director of the show just didn't want 2 red ranger and the original name for zenkaiger sentai Sentai sentaiger gonna ignore the fact we got 3 Sentai in our face

The team is bonkers, I like stuff that is bonkers. I mean I make ridiculous Power Rangers mega sword combinations on a daily basis.

Honestly to me zenkai white (or however you call him) has the worst suit out the 6 in his team like the 4 geikanoids look great but twokaiser and him feel a bit out of place but doesn't really effect the season

I heard that each team member is meant to be a reference to a past mecha. In Zenkaiser’s case, he’s actually a humanoid version of the Gorangers’ plane, Variblune, which was white. Also, Twokaiser’s “hat” is more pronounced than Gokai Red’s, which makes him represent Gokai Oh. While you can still dislike Zenkaiser and Twokaiser’s suits, I just wanted to share some info that I found that (kinda) makes them fit in with the rest of the team. (On a side note, Zenkaiser to me looks like a mishmash of Akaranger in terms of his overall design, and Big One in terms of his color scheme. I’m cool with that.)

Leader and Central are bold different, Big One and Tsuruhime are the leader of their team, but Spade Ace and Sasuke are the central. And they make a justification for Zenkaiger being "doesn't matter what your color, everyone can be hero" yes, but White shouldn't be the Central of Super Sentai. If they want to make a revolution, it's too late for 45 years. What Aka Red made for? FOR A REDS ICON. This is the proof of being Red Centrals is more than tradition, it's Super Sentai Identity. IMHO, make White central is a stupid idea. Also, a robot team? LOL, they should adapt the Humagear concept

Hey bro, I’m super glad you want to get into these shows! Here are my top 3 recommendations. - Dino Thunder On the surface, it has the same setup as Mighty Morphin: dinosaurs and high school. However, it acts as a spiritual successor by improving character development and drama. Not to mention Tommy (the og green ranger) returning as a mentor. The fight scenes are really neat since a lot of it is new footage. - S.P.D This is my favorite season of all time. It’s one f the most creative with it’s futuristic setting and space police story. The characters can respect but clash with each other at times, making them feel very human. - Jungle Fury This is a season I’ve been feeling really nostalgic for lately. The martial arts choreography is very skilled and all of the suits are beautiful. There are fewer characters compared to other seasons, which allows the viewer to connect with them.

Uh, it actually CAN be adapted into Power Rangers. None of the Zenkaigers/Twokaigers are based off of Sentai that came before Zyuranger. The SentaiGears and suits can just be replaced with numbers based on the Power Rangers season. ZenKaiser: 35 Zyuran: 01 Gaon: 10 Magine: 14 Vroon: 15 TwoKaiser: 21 TwokaiKatanar: 19 (Super Samurai) TwokaiRikki: 04 It’s THAT simple! And you know what else is simple? ORIGINAL FOOTAGE!

Idk. That’s what they said about Shinkenger, Goseiger and Gobusters and all of those got PR Adaptations. It just comes down to how much effort they’re willing to put into adapting it. The only thing they would really have to work around besides only 3 traditional Rangers would be the numbers on their heads.

I mean Hasbro could always just skip it. If you want proof they can do that, look up ToQger, Zyuohger, Kyuranger, and Lupinranger vs Patranger. They’re all sentai seasons that were skipped over.
