I first heard Breaking Benjamin and Linkin Park when I was like 6 or 7. Whenever i was 12 or 13 I started listening to Slipknot, System of a Down, Metallica, Pantera, Whitechapel. Now I am 15 listening to All previous bands I listed and now including Korn, Silent Planet, and some Christian metalcore and deathcore bands. My brothers definitely influenced my music taste, and metal/rock is such a good outlet for me, and I will never regret listening to the music that I now listen to, despite what my peers say at my school.

I’m 13, my dad has showed me bands like disturbed and chevelle, and wow! They are amazing! I’ve been a fan for a year or two now. That jake kid is a legend.

Down with the sickness is probably their most vocally brutal song ever. I love it, personally. Listening to metal is how I keep myself only imagining crushing the skulls of the people who wrong me with my bare hands, as opposed to actually doing it. That, and manslaughter is a serious offense. (I speak in jest, of course.)

This is what you get when you have A generation of kids who have never been exposed to rock music of any kind, and where they think female-driven pop music is the only kind of music there is. We rock/metal lovers love the genre for the instrumentation just as much as anything else. The vocals are just an afterthought sometimes.

You want generic metal look at Godsmack, Breaking Benjamin, three days grace. All there albums are the same. Disturbed, on the other hand, always comes from left field with something.

It's mainly how much you listen to it. the more you listen to it the better you get at understanding.

Kids weren't a good choice for disturbed, they don't understand half of what they see and none of them could fathom how amazing the lead singers voice is and how great the band is.

Ive been listening to them for about 4 years, got into them from my dad, he let me borrow the Immortalized album, and I loved it. Then I got Spotify and found all their other albums, and loved them all

Great thing about Disturbed is, they are the nicest guys you will ever meet. Always left huge tips at the Olive Garden I worked at. I knew them through the music scene in Chicago, and they practiced at the same place many of my friends did. Fun fact, that place got robbed when Disturbed first started hitting it big, and they helped the other bands in that space get new music equipment.

I agree. The first time I heard of this band was in 2017 (yes, I’m a post sound of silence fan, so sue me, lol 😂), and naturally I went on KZread to check them out. I saw loads of videos of David going off on some audience or being generally angry, also in pictures. “Wow, wouldn’t want to meet that guy in a dark alley.” Was all I could think. Well, fast forward to 2019, when they gave a concert in Amsterdam and I managed to score meet and greet tickets…wow! What an experience that was… they were so down to earth, so sweet and nice and nothing like I’d imagined before meeting them. They’re just a bunch of fluffy, squishy, adorable jellybeans ♥️🥰❤️.

Jake at 4:52 is the best! He's the only one that truly appreciates one of the best metal bands out there! #Respect #KeepOnRockingDude 👍🏽🤘🏽👏🏽

I'm three years late to this video but someone needs to explain to these kids that Disturbed are some of the most attentive band members when it comes mental health and encouraging overcoming adversity. Glad the kids all had a positive reaction because this band has helped a lot of people find peace in life. Been listening since 1998 and they still stand as my favorite band.

It's so hard not to get pissed off at people putting down music that you regard as having a prominent effect on your life, even if its kids

once they are old enough to understand the story of the music, give them a chance to hear this songs again! and that little guy Jake, keep on rocking buddy!

The bassist John Moyer was producer for my sons first band EP when they were still in high school. He flew in in between tours for pre-production and the studio sessions. That was in 2018. John Moyer is a very nice and down to earth gentleman.

I love the kid in blue, he gets it. I respect the kids who say that they respect people who do like it. Also the kid who said that the videos were cheesy, do you see the pop music videos.

This is kinda like my childhood, older foster sister used to let me listen to her old ipod on the bus. Was one of my favorites

I see a lot of people saying to show this to Disturbed, but... my thought is, have these same kids revisit this reaction a few years later after they've matured more to see if they've changed their minds.
