There's 104 days of summer vacation And school comes along just to end it So the annual problem for our generation Is finding a good way to spend it Like maybe... Building a rocket Or fighting a mummy Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower Discovering something that doesn't exist (Hey! ) Or giving a monkey a shower Surfing tidal waves Creating nanobots Or locating Frankenstein's brain (It's over here! ) Finding a dodo bird Painting a continent Or driving your sister insane (Phineas! ) As you can see There's a whole lot of stuff to do Before school starts this fall (Come on Perry) So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb Are gonna do it all So stick with us 'cause Phineas and Ferb are Gonna do it all! (Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence! ) (Guitar downs)

They never made fun of stewie griffins head which is Arnold's basically
Just so you know with Hey Arnold, the two bully characters Harold and Helga, yes they did start out as bullies, but as the show progressed you find out that they both despite being mean and teased the other kids at times, they do indeed dive into both their human and softer sides. And that's why I still love that show till this day.

The best thing about the Nick 90's shows were that all of them typically had some sort of moral or something about life to learn. I even remember some of them to this day that must have affected my outlook on life at some point.
@strawberrysoulforever8336
3 жыл бұрын
Harold had a very gradual change over the show, sort of starting out with episodes like "Harold's Kitty" and "Harold's Bar Mitzvah" and he just kept getting better from there. He was only really a bully in the first season. He still threatened people a lot and teased, but he usually lost if he was in the wrong. He showed great character in episodes like "Weighing Harold" (body image and what others think), "Harold vs Patty" (sexism, shame in "losing to a girl") and my personal favourite "Hey Harold" (voicing an unpopular opinion in defense of a friend). Helga's presence was probably more antagonistic, but we knew right from the beginning her reasons. She did develop a bit. Her stalker-like tendencies actually lessened a little from the beginning of the season, and she seemed to grow up a little - although that was probably because Lila was pretty and sophisticated and she was just trying to cater to Arnold's type, but still - she sort of became more intelligent, sophisticated and eloquent, but also more depressed, and maybe she was even nicer - as time went on, her friendship with Phoebe actually became much more believable (early episodes made me wonder why Phoebe put up with being ordered around).

Beavis and Butt-Head was a classic
Rugrats is one of my personal favorites.
When Lucas's dad starter doing that laugh from Beavis and Butthead the look on Lucas's face is AMAZING
Sydney is just so articulate and thoughtful. Her parents clearly have taken the time to make sure she's well-rounded, and it shows.
I’m currently 30 and I grew up on all these cartoons, it’s so awesome to see that the animators didn’t forget about us as we aged and gave us no-bars-hold types of cartoons enjoyable as adults by Seth McFarland, Matt Groening, the folks who did Rick and Morty, and many more. Keeps that little inner child alive while today’s kids can enjoy the more PC stuff.
Rugrats had 3 movies. The first they just run off and the parents find them “missing”, the 2nd one is the France one, and the 3rd one is the movie where they are crashed on the island the Wild Thornberry’s were on.

It is like that Paw patrol my kids used to watch..... never made sense , nothing got explained... it is just a random kid without parents on a random island with super dogs ..... and they save the day . .. the end. And most of the cartoons now just that. No need for creative artists or good designs on cartoons. I don't care how kid friendly it is or not, but I'mma show my kids Tom & Jerry. My dad showed them to me and my sister when we were very young, so I'm gonna continue our mini tradition lol
Do a reverse episode where the kids show their parents some of their favorite shows!
Even though I am 21 I can see a huge difference in generations. For example me and my friends wouldn't just sit and watch The "new" shows of our time we sat and watched cartoons and films that our parents watched when they were kids I don't really see that happening any more which is very weird considering that those shows were huge and dominated pop culture for years yet if you asked an average kid if they had watched Ed, Edd and Eddy or looney toons or whatever most of them would say no. Probably multiple reasons for this I suppose and far more shows were put into syndication so we did get that variety of old and new and I don't see a lot of that when I flick through the channels every now and again. The animation style was unique and you could tell who the creators and artists were because of it now everything seems to be 3D digital animation which is fascinating but I believe over-used. I remember once I was flicking through channels and it was about 11pm and I saw Garfield was on so I thought I would get a little nostalgic. It wasn't the Garfield I remembered that too had succumb to 3D animation and that's not the only victim either, there's nothing wrong with a classic 2D cartoon. I like art and animation its fascinated me it from when I was a child and the variety drew my attention and I used to try and copy the different styles. Now when I sit and watch anything with my younger cousins I just find it brain numbing especially since they rarely put in those little bits of humour that fly over the kids heads to keep the adults entertained I know they still do it in films but there is a lack of it in kids compared with how they used to be.

Exactly what i was thinking, I watched things like Tom and Jerry, Popeye Show, Scooby Doo etc which my parents used to watch as well when they were kids. Those shows had a special kind of charm to them thats why they lasted for so long. But sadly all those shows got lost at the same time which kind shows how much the medium changed. New shows are kinda coming and going but not staying as memorable as older shows. Cartoons were meant to be a bit quirky and weird but they turned this medium too serious as well.

If you grew up in the 90's/early 2000's, there was a good mix of new and old cartoons being played on tv so many of us were exposed to the classics while having our own soon to be classics.

MAD World Productions that makes sense
'This looks really old' ouch that hurt. I'm 23 feeling like a pensioner thanks to that comment lmao.
?? Batman the Animated Series, Swat Kats, Flinstones, Jetsons, Jonny Quest, Richie Rich, Gargoyles, Space Ghost, Plastic Man, The Centurions, Robotek, Captain Planet, Masters of the Universe, Tom and Jerry...... So many cartoons...my childhood...
I am surprised that Johnny Bravo or Dexter's Laboratory wasn't on this episode.
I didn't watch *any* of these in the 90s since I didn't have cable. My 90s experience was Beast Wars, Samurai Pizza Cats, Reboot, Kids WB shows like Batman TAS, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Freakazoid, One Saturday Morning shows like Doug, Recess and Pepper Ann, and Disney Afternoons like Darkwing Duck, Chip N Dale, Duck Tales and Goof Troop.
i like young lucas, he is curious with everything lol Rugrats and Hey Arnold still my fav

Damn, I know Sydney is perceptive for her age, but her getting that one Beavis & Butthead joke means she is ready for teens react and that makes me feel ooooold ;)
Who else couldn’t sleep and decided to watch this ?
Ah, man. I was born in ‘94 and grew up with all of these shows, except I didn’t really watch Beavis and Butthead. This episode makes me feel old. The 90s and early 2000s were the best for cartoons! Rugrats, Hey Arnold, The Wild Thornberries, Rocket Power, The Angry Beavers, Doug, Rocko’s Modern Life, As Told By Ginger, CatDog, the first two seasons of Spongebob... I could go on, and those are just the ones from Nickelodeon. The live action shows like the original All That, Kenan and Kel, and The Amanda Show were amazing, too. Don’t even get me started on 90s/early 2000s Cartoon Network!
“Lets go.” -Woman that stuffed coke in shirts.
These kids made me feel old, those shows were my childhood.
I was watching Hey Arnold, Doug, magic school bus , animaniacs ,Pinky and the brain, Darkwing Duck, Talespin and my alltime favorite Spider-man

@@fabiansanchez10000 Really? I remember my brother and I found that show to be very creepy as kids lol Still remember watching the first episode back when it premiered on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and it left us so unsettled lol.
I’m not complaining, I’m certainly surprised you showed Beavis & ButtHead on Kids Reacts. I can’t say much, cause I was watching it when I was 8. I used to love the music commentating scenes, the most.
Lucky to have grown up with these shows.
These all took me back to the great memories of the 80's and 90's my son was born in 2000 and he knows almost all of the 80's cartoons The Thundercats, Ducktales, G.I JOE, Alvin And The Chipmunks, Muppet Babies, Garfield and Friends doing etc 😁😁😁
Left out doug. Courage the cowardly dog. Mork and mindy. Ren and stimpy. Ah real monsters

During this pandemic I've taken the time to introduce my kid to the classics because we dont have cable or internet but do have a DVD player. She just turned 7 and loves catdog, hey Arnold, rugrats, angry beavers, ahh real monsters, wild thornberries, and my absolute favorite ever the 90s sitcom show about dinosaurs called dinosaurs lol. She constantly sings "I'm a baby gotta love me, big purple eyes and very cuddly" and tells me she wants to hit her dad in the head with a frying pan hahaha.

rocko and hey arnold are my absolute favorite cartoons from the 90s. they’re just plain great!
It would be interesting to see what kids no thought of popular toys and fads of the 90's and even before. To see what their parents were doing for fun back in the day.
