Winter weather will cause a huge amount of fog 4:23 so I would recommend the model that also has a nose and mouth mask insert. 4:23 shows fog and this is reasonably warm weather. I live in Canada where it can be -37 in the winter.

That suit works, but it's an old design. Nowadays there are better suits with breathable materials.

How does the mask for the child seal?

It's a PAPR (powered air purifying respirator) and works by way of positive pressure. Contaminated air gets pulled into the blower unit > chemical cartridge + HEPA filter clean dirty air > clean air passes into tubing and into the hood where the wearer enjoys nice clean air. Essentially since there's air being pulled in at a positive pressure, it makes its way out under the loose fitting hood and outside air can't come in. This is why PAPRs are ideal for people with beards and eyewear as no fit-testing is required.

Hi I’ve take this unit out, but no idea how to put it back in the case it comes in?! Also, I’ve opened the airflow. Will it still work in a SHTF situation? Any help please?

She's so cute! So I was wondering, do you tell her everything? I don't tell my children about preparedness after my eldest, when he was 6, said to a total stranger that "all under mums bed has tins" and I'm scared they might blab so I try and hide it

They were just some typical rain boots. You should be able to find just about anything you'd need on Amazon.
