Kidney Transplant Rejection
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Dealing with a 1A Kidney Transplant Rejection. Sharing my Kidney rejection symptoms, how they have treated my kidney rejection, how I have felt through it all, what has caused some of my kidney rejection, and the plan moving forward.
They have made some changes to my Transplant medication, have given me three infusions of Solu-Medrol (methylprednisolone), and are switching me back to some other Oral immunosuppression meds.
I will have to go back in for another kidney biopsy in less than a month to confirm the rejection has stopped.
I really hope this video can help someone else out going through a similar experience.

I had Kidney Transplant 14 years ago. In between these years I have been infected by Covid 19 twice and by Dengue once. By the God's blessings my organ is going well till now. But after 2nd time covid which happened to me almost one and half years ago my creatinine level remain slide high(1.23 where the normal range is 1.18) and my blood sugar remains in prediabaetic range(HbA1c 6.0). I am 35 years of age. Other than those all blood parameters remains in super normal range, and there is no existence of protein, glucose or RBC in my urine. Currently I am on a combined dosage of Cyclosporine, Mycophenolate mofetil and Prednisolone. I am somehow assured as my urine report is normal. Though I am a non-medical person, my personal experience says any kind of Kidney rejection or damage causes proteinuria(Albumin). Correct me if I am wrong. Still I remain immense tensed when it comes to urine exam. I always check that "Protein" should be NIL.

I have a kidney transplant in 2020. For the most part, I have my life back. It’s been good overall. I have had several rejection episodes over the last 3 years. The transplant clinic(UW Madison Transplant) has provided me a heavy dose of prednisone, and GAMUNEX-C 10 GRAM. Its usually mitigate the rejection for some time. But it is usually a repeated issue the following year. And I have accepted that. Again, I have my life back.
