It's quite tricky at first. After some miles you know when to kick and if it needs a little blip of throttle while kick-starting it. I love this bike. I have the same model. Soon be reaching 80K and so far it's still kicking hard. One thing I'll suggest. Learn how to kick it while standing on the bike without side stand.

II don't have a decompression Bowden cable That's why I have to completely pedal the 600cc This is only possible on the stand with 80 kg

First find TDC, you will be less sweaty. Took me also couple months. Now it goes like warm butter

I think there's a trick to add an "eye" which help you to see where the piston is and kick it to start it

I hate kick starting my 600 especially when it kicks back

I have the TT 600 E Belgarda. Same Engine tho. My engine starts on the second kick on Cold start. When its hot it is a different story :D

No, the model is like that, it's a 2kf which is higher than the normal XT's
