Would love to see an install! Got this as a birthday present and have no idea what I’m doing. Personally like that it has the quick connect/disconnect, it will be installed in a Subaru Forester so will be nice to get out of the way when needed. Great review btw very clear message!

Hey how's it go? Did you have an aftermarket sterio? Or did you have to tap in?

I have this subwoofer and for what it is it is pretty damn good !! I wouldn't recommend putting it in a car trunk though I would put it behind your seat or in a truck is the best because it's only 100watts.. if you put it in your trunk of a car you won't even hear/feel it because of how low the power is but this sub is very powerful for 100watts and can handle any type of bass you throw at it after you break it in but I can't stress enough for the price of this and the power of this I would not put it in a trunk of a car you will not get the full experience at all... it's best for a truck or behind your seat in a car than you'll feel the bass and it sounds really smooth and hits hard with any type of music.

Does anyone have link to an actual video that explains the diagram? Because there are no shortage of opinions on this speaker, but everyone hides the actual connection of the wires, which is what most people need. Not your opinion.

My install guy didn't use the in-line fuse that came with he used a fatter wire & a bigger fuse.

Bubba Thompson I can show you how to install it by demonstrating how to do it but it's already installed in my truck so I won't be re installing it lol but I'll show how to do it step by step it's extremely easy... easier than installing a big custom system of course. And I'll show how to set gains by ear and what frequency range you need to have because those are very important to give you the best sound and the bass boost I would keep at 0 because your stereo deck can control how much bass is coming out just by adjusting your bass settings. This sub acts like it's one of your speakers because you crimp some of the wires to your radio deck wires positive and negative on left and right speaker wires by matching the right ones I'll show you. The hard part is running the wires from your battery through the firewall and underneath the carpet and side panels because you have to un screw stuff and lift up the carpeting to hide the wiring so you don't damage it and grounding the subwoofer is easy you just find bare metal with no paint on it and bolt it to your cars metal frame. You can either drill a small hole into the frame without drilling into the gas tank or anything that can damage your car or you can find a hole already drilled and bolt it in with a screw and bolt or find a screw already on your cars frame and than you're done after that and adjust your subwoofer settings and plug in your bass boost remote if you want to control the bass volume but it's optional your really don't need it if you have a good stereo deck already lol anyone on KZread I'll show you guys how to do it the easy and professional way for free so you don't have to pay someone 100$ or more at a stereo shop to do it and it only take 30 minutes or less depending on where you want to put the subwoofer. But if you have a car do not put it in the trunk or else you won't even feel the bass because it's only 100 watts. I would put it behind your car seat or atleast behind the passenger seats or underneath if possible just not the trunk lol and if you have a truck that would be the best idea because it sounds amazing I'm small space but in a truck depending on the size you have to roll the windows down because the air pressure makes the bass muddy for some weird reason idk lol but it sounds amazing with windows rolled down and hits the low end bass a lot better.

Yup, I just spliced the power wires together, and you're probably gonna need a capacitor to help with voltage drop.

Does anybody know what exactly each wire is for I got mine from a friend minus the 10 pin wiring harness,so I ordered one offline and it came with no directions ,the speaker wire I can figure out even though theirs know way to differentiate because there's two greys w/ black lettering and two whites with black lettering,can't remember all the other colors but I think there's two reds to blacks and whatever else so if anybody knows which way they went I would surely appreciate it.thank you

Youll connect that to your secondary speakers/ speakers that aren't your doors and from there you'll be able to connect your RCA wires

@@elizabethtubbs6893 red power wire goes to your battery or a 12v source. I'm not sure if you are running on a 24v system, and yes the speaker wires would tie into your radio system.

I have a question so I went to Walmart my plan was to buy a kicker 10 to match the one I already had. So when I go to plug the new one up I realized it's nothing like the one I have anyway I just ran all the wires straight to my amp remote wire ground power wire Nether less its working just fine but what I'm wondering is is it possible to plug the other 10 up along with this one I wanted 2 ten inch speakers not just 1. I have both speakers plugged into a 1200 watt amp but it seems like the pt250 is sucking up all the power my regular 10 is working but not like it should.

Yes you can, you can bypass the pt250 amp and go right from the speaker to your amp, you could drill a small hole in to the box to run wires through and simply disconnect the existing wires and connect your ran wires

For anyone that says this sub sounds good, they are LYING! I bought one and installed it and I absolutely hate it. Sounds like crap, no bass at all. Sounds like a door speaker with the bass turned up too high.

My guy didn't play it, talk about the quality of sound, or even talk about specs

FeLeX Black it all depends how you install it. I've installed mine in 3 different cars , first time with a in line converter, 2nd time with a equalizer and in line converter, 3rd time with a 2 in line converter no eq and its loud enough to sound like a 12 in sub , I'll post a video soon

I've installed using a separate line converter and using the built in hi-input and its still too quite. Most the weight is the thick box.
