I like this style of video. I think it's great that these creators are sharing their numbers and as many metrics as they can. If they continue to do so, this will help say 6-12 months down the line to see some consistencies in the pay as well as different metrics in the streams to help people figure out the best content strategies for their channel.

I think what this shows is that Kick really wants creators to invest in their platform being a tool rather than a one all be all place. And it’s super smart because all it does it motivate you to grind to grow. Huge W for Kick.

That shit about hiring a CPA and really getting your shit together has nearly infinite value. I've seen it in reverse where people who had previously hired and paid for certain types of business professionals decide they knew better when it came to taxes, tried to save a few bucks and it damn near ruins them. I'm so glad someone with more creative experience than myself sees the value of it in this particular industry.

most peoples dont realize that u can now easily get a job at home 100% getting about 75k-100k doing nothing at all... im prob working max 2-3hours a week, rest im gaming and watching shit on youtube

I'm very curious to see how this will work in regards to long term engagement once interactive extensions become available on kick. Extensions such as Marbles and Words on Stream are great for keeping viewers engaged which you take a quick break, for coffee or whatever, where as if people were just looking at a "brb" screen, a few are more likely to wander off. It'll be interesting to see the effects it has once people can fully lock in to get their stream optimized for max viewer retention.

Its nice to see people who make like $50 sub revenue a month make a living off lurks / viewbots. I don't think throwing money is gonna fuel the streamers to make them better content. It appears to have to opposite effect. Many of them have become lazy sadly. I don't see any other kick streamers making actual good content outside* of kick besides you and ben.

Ok hear me out… what if they pay per viewer “watch time” but also pay out sporadically over the course of a few months 🤔 like overall you would get $10k but the break that up over a few months keeping it inconsistent but still paying via a metric 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think really making great content and scaling it is key. What you get paid isn't going to beat a full-time job until you do. Most want to be paid a full-time job just playing games like everyone else. I would rather be paid with more eyes, not money.

depends on what u wanna make i would say. twitch is def for gaming related content. i mean ofc u can do other things its just a platform after all. but more people come looking for gaming related content on twitch and hot tub streams lol. but yeah i would say if u gon be heavy gamer related then twitch. anything else kick might be worth a shot.

Kick is full of bots. All my friends on KICK are botting now. I literally watch them start the bots WHILE LIVE and they are instantly at 100 viewers after going live for 2 minutes. 0 to 100. It's kinda sad.

Great video. But for me, I'd be happy making anything to stream. At the end of the day we're all blessed to stream for a living.

Throwing money at creators has never worked its the main reason mixer didnt make it along with a few other streaming platforms. I think kick gets a bad rep cause of IRL streamers you been hearing about lately such as the dude that got arrested in japan and isreal along with that white kid who harasses people etc, kick gets a bad rep and I think that is why kick hasnt exploded to what I think it could be

Most likely heard wrong. Here is the reality. I have been streaming for 9 years. Nothing as of right now makes it near the worst in my experience. These sites are tools for creators, period.

Kick paying streamers dollar tree 2017 wages to livestream. I thought working a 9-5 was something to rant. I am no longer going to comaplain because these kick streamer are the new 9-5 grunt workers to makw them rich 😂 If the pay wage increases to $25+ an hour then maybe I might be a part time kick grunt worker.
