Native to the Tibetan Plateu, the Tibetan Wildass, also known as Kiang, is the largest species of wildass. Though listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, the species is facing severe threats due to climate change, habitat loss, livestock overgrazing and free-ranging dogs.
