Yes I agree with Koulis below the 'audience' setting sounds best to my ears as well. I've been experimenting with high resolution FLAC Lossless files fed into the front USB socket via memory stick ....the results again to ears are awesome with a smooth treble and no harshness at all. It's that good I've been just sitting in the car listening to music....not driving..!!..:-))

I agree with increasing the mid range and lowering base and treble but kept 'audience' instead of 'reference' on the quantum logic as this gives an amazing surround experience. As you say, this is personal and this is my own preference. Thanks for the review.

Pleasure and thanks for sharing your setup - indeed audio is subjective :)

I was studying Acoustics at University and want to say that recording speakers using microphone inside a car, for the sound demo - doesn't make really sense. That's because the microphone you used is probably creating much more distortions that speakers do when playing. For such tests, professional condenser microphones are needed, which could even not be enough.

Sure, it's not ideal, but then not providing an audio demo of some sorts, people will then complain that there isn't one. Can't win at everything!

I'd like to hear Voulez Vous on that system.
