This talk actually triggered me and made me angry. When you have to giveup everything for a person your friends ,family , career and even country, You can not make your own decision you can not even go to takecare of your sick parents if it does not suit him. Everything you do has to suite him otherwise you are" disrupting your home" what space are you left with to make yourself happy ? skin care and your favorite food ???( and you will have to cook something else too since he doesnt like that). You can not give everything and expect nothing but food and roof over your head in return.

Beleive me 80 percent of relationships are toxic. I am better of than majority . He is resposible, atleast my mother inlaw does not get to decide how we should and shouldnt live as limited as the freedom is i can chose what to cook and how I Should parent my childern, there arw women out there who do not even have that luxury ( meri ma nai khush tum sy chalo ab mae bhi seedhy munh nahi karon ga bat.) what she says applies to a very few women who can do whatever they want but are sulking ky miyan ny valentine day pae phool kiyon nai diye ya birthday kiyon bhool gaya.

Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم always waited for revelation to come so things get cleared for him he didn't have علم الغيب and u can find out this at many places in his life when he delayed his decisions and did the رجوع الى الله through Salah and Dua and did istikhara to take better decision.
