    Chimaev is a monster, each fight is a treat. He might be a big 170'er, but he is too skinny for 185, even Meerschart said it. They should give him the title fight at 170 already. I believe he beats both Usman, who's been avoiding him (He said he gonna fight Canelo, go to 205, etc, anything but Chimaev fight, luckily Leon got that one), and Leon too. Usman beat 2 ranked guys before his title shot, RDA and 41 years old Maia, both boring decisions. Chimaev also already beat 2 ranked guys, Li and Burns, both super exciting fights. Plus Holland before going to 170 was ranked #10 at 185. And Chimaev did what bigger guys like Brunson and esp Vettori, who is a massive 185er, couldn't. They just held Hollan down for all rounds, and got hit hundreds time in the process.

    He looks skinny cause he sucks down to 170. He'll be an absolute beast at 185! Plus just cause he looked skinny doesnt mean he isn't strong as an Ox. Stronger at 185 too. He really doesnt even look skinny though, he's just long. I cant believe Meerschart had such a horrible and wrong analysis on him. How can a fighter be so wrong. I mean just watch the guys tape. It was like the complete opposite of his analysis. I dont understand that. That was ridiculous. Any one who picks dudes up, and carrys em, and slams em is not weak lol. He found out pretty quick how strong he is though. Excited to watch this guy run through em. At both weights.

    @@wadesunderland3826 Partly agree that he will be strong at 185 for sure. I'm just saying he needs to build a frame for the weight class. He is a 170er still, coz on fight island he was able to make 170 on a week notice. And made it multiple times before. Some of the giants at 185 die to make 185, same thing. They would never make 170. Costa missed weight by a mile in Vettori fight, looked absolutely massive. Alex Pereira seems bigger than 6'5 tall 205er Reyes. Vettori also massive. Chimaev is similar in this way to Holland who was 6'3 but skinny, so he dropped to 170. Many guys at 170 cut more weight than Chimaev, Michel Pereira in his last fight said he cut 41 pounds in 1 month. THis is a lot. Chiesa said his walking around is 210lb. Chimaev does not cut from 210. He missed it only once, not a big deal, and actually didn't even miss it, as many already commented on it, he just stopped cuttin at one point when something went wrong. As I said he should fight for the title at 170. Then he can go up, stylisitcally he poses threat to Izzy

    @@elyt777 I disagree with you. Hes a naturally bigger dude. His frame is fine too. He's definitely more of a natural 185er that struggles to make 170. Hell he's probably not for off from 205 at his natural weight. Some of those guys you speak of should also probably be fighting at 205 instead of killing thereselves to make 185. And that doesn't automatically make them stronger fighters either. Can very well have the reverse efffect. I've never once looked at Khamzat and thought he looked small at all. Only that he would look way bigger if he moved up a class

The fact that he looks skinny cause of his height, yet weighs the same and literally carrys dudes across the ring and slams them at 170lbs makes it obvious that he strong as an Ox. Nice video, yet one update needed. The Name Khamzat is pronounced as "Hamza", the K being silent iin slavic languages. And the T in the end is pronounced in the eastern Asian lands, but not in the middle east. So Borz (wolf) is Hamzat or better yet Hamza. And the name Hamza (Hamzat ) is an Arabic word that describes the sounds of a lion when its about to eat its prey after a successful hunt !!! Perhaps Hamza , the wolf turns into a lion after the kill 🤔

I wouldn't necessarily "bet on" Khabib losing to very many fighters, no matter what weight class they're in, but Khamzat is on an entirely different level of FEROCIOUS. I was actually surprised that Gilbert Burns didn't knock him out.... he's just on another level, period.. This is only the beginning for this guy...

  • @Vikn01
    @Vikn01 Жыл бұрын

    Love him or hate him (I still love him), Khamzat makes for a uniquely imposing presence in the UFC and the sport as a whole. Personally, I find it laughable for someone to have an emotional reaction to someone not making weight. Sure, if it happens 3-4 times in a short period...even then, having any negative feeling towards another person for it seems so absurd and foreign; I cannot fathom reacting that way or what sort of thought process leads to convincing oneself it's anything other than facile emotional thrashing about. I suppose I only feel this way because I have cut lots of weight for my HS wrestling career...and while nowhere near an iota of the same level, I was very successful and so had pressure to not miss. Honestly, weight cutting alone caused me to forgoe several partial and several full scholarships because I didn't want to do it. Regrettable of course, but I was at a degenerate, debauched period in my life that'd last until my mid 20s. It's easy to reflect in my late 20s but there was little that would have made that version of me change my mind. All that stems from the weight cut. The high intensity drilling, strength and conditioning (truly on par with anything else, no hyperbole...very progressive conditioning coach in methods and intensity commonplace in today's pro sports) was shitty at times but I "enjoyed" it (as much as one can enjoy such things) at the time. But I can't fault someone for missing weight once or even a few times. That's not even considering the possible doctor interference. That shade of doubt is enough to make it beyond trivial in terms of my having any emotional reaction and my opinion of Khamzat being impacted. I wasn't cutting 2-3lbs either... my records are 11lbs overnight or 4lbs in a little over an hr...different occasions and obv 4/hr is mathematically more but weight cutting doesn't work like MPH so I can't compare. Those with contrary opinions who have cut weight I can listen to and probably agree with the sentiment...just not maligning or villifying someone who has shown such skill and tenacity, obviously implying his dedication and determination, which is what would be called into question by a weight miss. I just can't get behind feeling any inclination to "boo" or feel any disdain...It only implies someone is some sedentary, milquetoast, fay-wristed, jiggling cellulite-majority organism phagocytizing pallets of cheetos and butter each hour, opening it's maw to express impotent rage towards not getting their exact ideal outcome watching others do litanies of things such a "person" would not even be medically cleared to think about...perhaps they'd not even be cleared to exert the energy to let a flaccid "boo" dribble from their gullet...but I guess ya gotta push it to the limit even when you are a pathetic, quivering mass of cottage cheese consistency flesh dolling out condemnations and insults at any chance.
