He's not a psycopath, he's just understands he has to be a personality and put on a performance. But the reality with Khamzat, how he empathised with his mothers loneliness in a new country and how respectfully he paid respects to Gilbert Burns, this is a guy who's been through it all. War, suffering, hardcore training and loss. He's a great fighter and a monster, but also cares about others.

Khamzat would have killed Nate Diaz. Nate Diaz has been a loyal money-maker for the UFC for many years and the UFC (being the successful business that it is) decided to avoid this inevitable beat-down by "suggesting" to Khamzat and his camp that he should miss weight. They, in turn would give him a different fight (that he'd obviously win), pay him off and retain Nate Diaz's credibility. So now, Khamzat can continue to make the UFC a lot of money as well as Diaz. The UFC is truly American. Long live money.

I don’t think so. They were sending Nate to the slaughter deliberately. Possibly the big push back from fans, but I don’t think it was their call. Maybe after being sick he struggled to cut the last few pounds. Someone stopped him. I’m certain he wouldn’t have stopped on his own. He was training while coughing up blood.

I genuinely feel like Khamzat Chimaev could put up a worthy challenge to any fighter on the UFC roster, no matter the weight class. He has so much potential. I wish the UFC could get someone to fight him because he's being held back, not by his own fault. He has proven how active he will be. It's a dream fighter for the UFC. Why, hold him back and slow down his career? This is where "top rankings" system in the UFC is really messing things up.

My (half-assed) theory is that the UFC feel Khamzat could run through his weight class easily. He could probably beat everyone in the weight class above him. In order to promote fights, you can't have one obvious dominant champion that is unbeatable. All other fights seem insignificant. They can't use their favorite phrase, "The most anticipated fight in UFC history", because nobody cares about these other guys who aren't nearly as good when they fight each other. Kind of wrecks future promotions. So they hold him back. It's business.

People hate him for the smallest things,if you ever tried to make weight for a fight you know it is a hellhole. The only thing that is criticizable is the lack of humbleness about his error. The guy is a great fighter and could probably have a good bout againts a top contender soon.

8 lbs over is more than just struggling to cut weight. Either it was all planned by the UFC or he flat out didn't give a fuck. It was a bad look for him.
