In Nate's case I think some people unfamiliar with him would hear his four letter riddled interviews or see him give somebody the finger and think he lacked sportsmanship, which couldn't be more untrue to people who did know him. He was a polarizing fighter on his way up. I think guys like him, Chael or Connor brought the UFC to the level of popularity it has today. They always made you excited for the fight and you couldn't avoid talking about it the entire week after.

What's interesting about Nate is not just how he rose up from rough circumstances to make something of himself, but how technical he really is. His jiu-jitsu and boxing are underrated for how crisp and well-executed it is. He's not just a street brawler. A lot of his losses and struggles are ultimately mental and an issue of motivation imo.

Nate and Nick are awesome fighters. Real fighters. I like watching them talk the talk and walk the walk. Hey actually like to fight. True warriors. God speed to the Diaz families.
Mcgregor lost the second fight. One of the many blown calls by judges
What irritates me is that people think Nate and Conor are even. I can't accept that. Nate beat Conor in the first fight and Conor won the 2nd by MAJORITY decision (one judge calling it a draw). McGregor was going to get the decision if it went the distance regardless, because he was the cash cow. So yeah, on paper they're even. But in reality, Conor didn't beat Nate.
