@@dzimikes yes but sadulaev moves a bit more robotically because of his mass- don’t get me wrong tho he is the most agile 97 kg wrestler in the world rn. Khamzat to me is similar in fluidity to guys like David Taylor and Ghasempour

Even in wrestling , his opponents almost give up and just endure lmao Every move followed by the next calculated move. When Bruce Lee said be like water , it’s almost like seeing that. Aggressive coordinated dominance.
Khamzat just looks so spry and athletic. I know he's younger here but even now he just looks more smooth than most guys. His knees don't look all stiff and body isn't broke down
Keep in mind he’s only 27 so he’s still got a lot of years and fights left

Not really. the fulcrum of movement was the lower back and glutes and not his elbows. Still very impressive

I love how even though freestyle doesn’t require that you control the opponent from the top, seemingly all of the freestyle wrestlers from the caucuses still do it.

He has bronze medal in russian national championship, khabib never had any medals or accolades in wresling, he did some wresling but wasn’t that good so he did judo and then sambo
If Khamzat stayed at wrestling, now he could be the best opponent of Hassan Yazdani. He is very talented at wrestling as well. He will win easily.

Bo's area of speciality is in folkstyle wrestling, which is excusively only practiced in the states. On the other hand freestyle is practiced by Khamzat and worldwide + in the world of Olympics. Folkstyle focuses more on breakdowns, rides, and generally controlling the oppoenet. Whereas freestlye wrestling focuses on back exposure of your back on the mat. In collegiate (basically the same thing as folkstyle but practiced in colleges), Bo nickal was a 3x folkstyle champion. This is extremely difficult to achieve because in the states, the names that you wrestle in the NCAA D1 level are highly recognized. They wrestle different styles and yes, in a folkstyle match, Bo would mop the floor with Khamzat, as Khamzat is not a folkstyle wrestler. However in MMA grappling, I think that Khamzat has higher level experience. That's my opinon, but Bo is a top of the line athlete. Look up his folkstyle highlights, you'll see the scrambling differences in positions and his riding skills, compared to freestyle wrestling where if u get taken down, you are let back up in 15 secs if the opponent doesn't turn u towards ur back. Whereas Bo's ability to escape positions and control/ride his opponent is basically on a black belt level. wow, i am a fucking geek lol.
