I feel like it’s no coincidence that Albedo and Kaeya were planted in Mond together. It wouldn’t surprise me if Rhinedottir and Kaeya’s father are colluding together. If I’m not mistaken aren’t the Rhinemaidens and Alberich connected?
“We should actually fear whatever descends from the skies.” I’m curious if this is why Zhongli, Yae, and Nahida each try to justify the transferences of their gnoses, and if they think the traveler is a golem/archangel who’s gonna report back to the Heavenly Principles if the archons don’t give even the crappiest excuse. I’m also curious if the archons don’t wholeheartedly trust the traveler, or if they see him as an obstacle, despite the traveler’s intentions to protect Teyvat as long as they’re stuck there
I just like the whole khaenriah lore. Personally the best storyline in the game
What we need.. is actually a SECOND Venti Quest. Like COME ON!! Ei and Zhongli both already had theirs and every archons' second story quest usually mentions Khaenri'ah. Imagine if Venti gets one, oh boy, the lore bomb is gonna be insane.
My theory is that everything we did and will do in the game is what the other sibling did in the previous timeline. And the travelers fate would lead to what the sibling is now. And the sibling's fate is to be the traveler. It's a loop
I'M SO EXCITED FOR ALL THE LORE IN 3.5!
Thinking about this. It’s truly sad how much Venti must have gone through to give the people of Mondstatt the illusion of freedom as an enforcer. He choose peace with Celestia but at the cost of lots of lives and his own happiness. No wonder he drinks
After the 3.5 event quest, I ought to believe that Monstadt being the city of freedom is a secure haven for the group of Witches and their successors and many others. Albedo and Klee are there because of Alice and Barbato's connection. Lisa also chose to settle there. Kaeya was sent there I think coz it's much safer to hide his identity.
I feel like the reason Mond is so simple besides it being the tutorial area is because it's primed for being destroyed to create a new map.
Do you remember during the sumeru archon quest we see the same boxes of unknown God near irminsul and we know both irminsul and khanri ah are deep underground so it is possible that they were closer to each other and the people of khanri ah have saw something about gods so they challenged them and heavenly principles killed them so no one knows about the truth and some of the boxes might have come near to irminsul
After listening to Kaeya's story in Sumeru. I wonder, why almost Khaenri'ah remains (Albedo, Kaeya) went to Mondstad instead of Sumeru?
honestly, i like the idea that Kaeya's mission as the last hope is just to carry on living peacefully, and that Albedo's mission is to understand how and what makes him truly human now (namely, his emotions and humanity, relationships, etc). We probably won't meet Alice until the next region of Mondstadt is released, but even with the little we know of her, she views the people of Mondstadt as family and Gold is her friend (?), so i don't think Gold herself would make Albedo attack Mond, unless maybe to see if his desire to protect the relationships he built is strong enough to stop him? idk

i absolutely was NOT ready for kokomi wagner 💀💀it looks so cursed why did you do this to me
Hi! A german viewer here! I personally wouldn't translate 'Nachtvorhang' to 'Night Realm' but to 'Curtain of Night' meaning the approaching darkness of night. This however doesn't take away from your great theory! 😍💙
Ok that Wagner caught me off Guard 😂 🤣 💀
I love genshin lore so much, can't wait to see what gets revealed in the new Dain quest.
wait! mond was ruled by deccrebian and venti rose to godhood later. Kanriah and mond doesnt seem to have coexisted at that point. But monstat sent its army to destroy monsters to kanriah so they seem arguably close.

While I did notice early on that the Khaen from Khaenriah could be read as خائن in Arabic I didn't think that riah could possibly be رياح (it didn't click at the time since I assumed that middle eastern influences would be exclusive to sumeru so I wasn't thinking too much about it early on but with everything we know about sumeru now it makes sense)
