I think Khabib left him to fight on his own to show Islam what it would be like without him there. Not to rely on him. I think Khabib was without a doubt coaching and yelling in the cut. Khabib to me is an ample design of a defined blueprint to success. He will let you wander from afar and analyze his and his Dads teachings. Khabib is the most best fighter of our time .

@@iorilamia I am actually an Islam fan. Also a huge Khabib fan. Islam didn't utilize his best advantage. His height difference. He should have used his kicks and took advantage of them. Honestly, Umar Khabib cousin will be a great match for him if his stamina can keep up with Alex. I am not sure about his punching abilities but he has great leg strikes and a talent in grabbling. But I have to admit this fight made me a fan of Alex. He showed great talent and he was a class act thru it all. Amazingly humble and respectful even in defeat.

You're overlooking a couple of factors: 1. This is Volks we're talking about. You're disrespecting Volks by saying such a thing, or you clearly don't know much about him or mma in general. 2. Islam wasn't at full strength due to less time to recover from weight cut than he normally does, whereas Alex going UP in weight didn't have that issue (therefore was fully hydrated), and yet Islam STILL won. In my opinion Islam is greater than I thought he was due to these two points.
