Sonnen talked as much trash to Silva, perhaps even worse (said he was gonna pat Silva’s wife on the ass and tell her to make Sonnen a steak). The reason Ali cut it was because Khabib got upset with the way Ariel was moving. Ariel treated him like royalty whenever he had the chance to interview him but didn't mind to throw him under the bus whenever Conor showed up or rang him up for an interview. Ariel was doing what every journalist would've done but both Khabib & Ali thought of Ariel as someone who's a little more than just a journalist to them. They made the mistake of thinking he was somewhat of a friend. Helwani on other hand, even tho he wasn't particularly wrong, he wasn't particularly smart either. He blueballed himself from interviewing what has become the 2nd biggest star the sport has ever known by favouring the number 1 too much. If he didn't, he would've been able to have both on his show instead of just one.

Sure, their personalities differ. They're humans, not robots. Khabib is extroverted out-spoken and very witty. Makachev is younger by a couple of years, shy and very calm and peaceful. But inside the octagon, Islam is better than Khabib. He was Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's favorite fighter for a reason
