I wasn't really a fan of that. Felt too much like a virtrue signaling move to me. Him demanding each fighter gets an advocate or what ever, for what? That's none of your business. Each fighter is responsible to take care of their own business dealings. What, do you want the ufc to pay for those advocates? In which case, guess who those advocate will work for, the damn ufc not the fighter, because the fighters already feel like theyre under paid they for sure not paying for a damn advocate. What he was essentially suggesting is that each fighter has their own promoter or some shit. If you're the UFC, you're not going to allow that shit. If Dana's claims are true and Francis was offered the biggest contract in UFC heavy weight history... then to me I only feel like Francis was dodging the smoke with Jon Jones.

Francis actually wanted to be a boxer after seeing Mike Tyson on KZread while he was a sand miner in Cameroon. After trying for one year to get to a Spanish territory in Morocco, when he arrived in France he joined a boxing gym. When a coach said he wanted him to fight mma he said “what is mma?” I think he’ll do fine in Boxing. He is a natural athlete and a fierce competitor.

But he often forgets that there are fighters in the rosters that will literally destroy their bodies just to make 2k a fight. and That is sad.
