Honestly that’s a cop out pathetic reasoning. He can get the money and give it to charities himself once he wins. @I offer u this If a guy doesn't win a fight in a particular weight class for 4 years, gets beat by the champ on his return, then fights at another weight and wins against someone who's almost retired. THAT GUY DOESN'T DESERVE A TITLE SHOT, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. And I never said anything about having to beat the number 1 ranked to deserve a title shot.

As an Ex-Muslim I do agree that a lot of practicing Muslims like Khabib look at it that way, "there is a larger propose for me on this earth, it's not about being filthy rich, I just need some to get by and take care of my family with" and that's totally plausible by me. But if we talking about Islam as a whole, let me see what Khabib thinks about LGBT rights for instance, can they live in Daghestan peacefully without getting bashed up and murdered?... It's not a black and white issue, religion got stuff that makes someone a better human being and stuff that turns him into a complete monster.

TBH what Khabib does is lift the sport as an artform with this attitude. Conor made the sport about money. He can fight anybody because he will make them more money than ever before. Khabib is saying no and that legitimises MMA.

Both are needed though. Especially for the up and coming athletes. Why get into MMA if you could box for instance? I respect Khabib greatly for the way he Carrie's himself. Truly seems to be a good man. They are just opposite sides of the same coin. Both are needed both are welcomed. With that said we dont need everyone trying to be the next Connor or Khabib for that matter. Just be authentic and be yourself. That along with great fights makes it the best sport in the world

Wrong. Conor didn’t make the ‘sport’ about money, nor does any one person have that power, because a) it’s not a sport it’s a business and b) none of the fighters would be who they are without the fans who pay for pay per views. The large amount of money generated for fights is not just because it’s ‘about the money’, that money represents a large amount of people, it represents us, the fans who will fully pay for the fight! The fighters don’t matter, they can be compared to actors in a movie, it’s up to the director to create a movie people will come and watch, and guess what, people want to watch this rematch. Again, the money isn’t magic, it represents the will of millions of real people who want to watch the fight. After all they are entertainers and would be nothing without the fans. Market demand drives ufc to favour certain fights because that’s what people want to watch. Don’t try play it like some moral bullshit. If you want to be moral with your money, win the money, take it and make sure it definitely is put to good use!

To the clueless people wondering why Khabib's team is asking 100mil. It's because Khabib has no interest in fighting Conor. UFC is not going to pay 100mil, so hopefully fight wouldn't happen but to their surprise dubai has offered it. Hence why Khabib turned it down. But i really hope they keep asking for the 100mil, cuz conor and dana are desperate!
