I understand what abdulmanap was saying, totally, there's something rather special about Jones, while people kept bashing him for his bad behaviour, i always felt like if this troubled man just takes a second, calms down and comes to his senses, he will eventually realise the amount of power that he posses, and when he does, nobody will be able to stop him... Because someone who constantly fights himself, in case he wins that fight, he'll win any other fight. This is literally Jon Jones, and this is exactly why Abdulmanap saw the potential in him, a lot of fighters are scary and tough, but none of them is as real as Jones, he could've acted nice, but no, the man was in war with himself, thankfully we can now see how much he developed as a person, i think he's finally winning that war, and that's what the whole UFC should be scared of rn.

I love Jon Jones, favorite fighter by far, but don’t ride his dick too hard dude. He’s done some genuinely despicable things outside of the ring. His last domestic battery charge wasn’t even two years ago. And did you even follow his career? Never pretended to act nice? That was Jones whole shtick for years when he was getting started, to the point where Dana himself would even comment on how annoying his goodie two shoes persona was. He’s just a guy. A very talented guy who also had the perfect genetics to do this sport. Combine a sharp eye and mind for fighting with natural athleticism and the generic lottery and you get Jon Jones. He’s no gift from god and he’s not an entirely vile monster either. He’s just a dude. A flawed dude, who happens to be a very talented fighter.
