I wasn't originally a big fan of Khabib, but everytime I see him interact with anyone he gains a huge level of respect in my eyes. His level of humility, dedication to his discipline, and his general wisdom of life is something anyone can admire.

He prayed, and when he wanted to bow, he put her down. When he stood up he lifted her up.” (Al-Bukhari) The Prophet took a child in his lap … and then the child urinated on him, so he asked for water and poured it over the place of the urine. (Al-Bukhari) Anas ibn Malik was a young boy when he had the honor of serving the Prophet s.a.w. It is narrated from him that during his ten years of service, the Prophet s.a.w never said a word of impatience or rebuked him. Narrated by Anas r.a himself: “I served the Prophet s.a.w for ten years, and he never said to me, ‘Uff’ (a minor harsh word denoting impatience) and never blamed me by saying, "Why did you do so or why didn't you do so?” Whenever the Prophet s.a.w was visited by his youngest daughter, Fatimah r.a, he would stand to welcome her when she entered the room, take her by the hand, kiss her and make her sit where he was sitting “Fear Allah and treat your children [small or grown] fairly (with equal justice).” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: Whoever has three daughters and he accommodates them, show mercy toward them, and supports them, Paradise is definitely guaranteed for him.

The guy deserve respect, using his influence to do good things, not just bragging about being rich and famous, a great fighter, a great and humble human being!!! We need more people like him in this world!!

@Mano Ferreira I mean his reign was only so short thanks to Connor holding up the division for almost 2 years. Khabib was in line for the title shot in 2016 before Connor swooped in and got the shot instead. I wish we lived in that timeline where Khabib won his title back in 2016 instead of Connor, then dominated for 4 years rather than 2.

I have seen a video of Muhammed Ali with kids. Same love and affection I see with Khabib. Man Khabib is the Muhammed Ali of our Era. One from the people and always for the people. Definitely these 2 warriors made it larger than life.

Khabib is a freakin' LEGEND!! I've followed him since he first appeared in UFC. I cheered every single win, especially the one against McGregor. I don't blame him at all for jumping out of the octagon & putting a beat down on Danis. He definitely deserved it. I can't imagine what he felt during that last match with Gathje without his father in his corner.
