Michael, your channel is so much better than the typical KZread tutorial. Its like having professional series to walk you step by step. Im a beginner and your channel has been a godsend. Subbed, and looking forward to more videos. Would love to see more creative adaptations for some of these techniques for the less artistic among us. My mind doesnt always make the leap from technique to creative application! Thanks for these videos Mr. Kinney!

MatthewMMcQuade it’s less about being creative than it is about really understanding what you’re presenting and how best to do so. You can really overdo these effects and kill the effectiveness of your presentation.

I agree as well. Thanks for the clarity AND most of all the speed with which you talk and demonstrate. I find many videos irritating because elements like volume, rate, pitch, and the movements of the speaker extremely distracting or hard to follow. Michael, you're excellent at all of those elements of presentation. You help me learn. Thanks.

Phrasing is an often overlooked quality ingredient in teaching.
Michael, I have seen several of your videos now, and I can honestly say, your teaching style is unmatched on KZread! You have certainly mastered teaching via videos with just the right amount of technical depth while pacing your narration to entry level viewers yet holding the attention of faster learners. I look forward to seeing much more of your surperb work!
of all keynotes tutorials you've got straight to the point without advertising pre-made templates. You really deserve a lot of likes!!!
Michael, your delivery and video editing styles are clear and smooth without distractions. The knowledge you’ve given me in just two short videos has saved me time and money. It doesn’t get any better.
First I want to thank you for this video. The way you speak is very clearly and very good to understand for not English speaking people. I'm from the Netherlands, 72 years young and I love to learn all about programs like KeyNote. Last year I started my own youtube channel and now I may learn a lot from you how to make it more exited. Again...THANK YOU.
Simple ro understand but full of QUALITY tips done in a professional way!! THANK YOU!
You're an amazing presenter Michael! Thanks for this.
Great find
Michael, you are a brilliant tutor. I've used keynote on and off for years and need a refresher. Keep up the good work - definitely subscribing!
Thank you for the tutorial. It was very informative but I thought it might have been more helpful to give a real example of how to use the Magic Move since we can already easily do a Ken Burns effect in iMovie with the built in feature. Thanks again, been watching all your vids recently!
This is so helpful! I love the Ken Burn effects!
Thank you so much, this helped to upgrade my presentation A LOT.
I very much appreciate how you explain every move you are making. 👍👍

Hi Michael, please do more videos of all kind. You are a wonderful trainer. You speak clearly, not to fast and the content is building up. You do not move your mouse arrow quickly. I find it easy to watch and understand even for not native English speaker, like me. Thank you!
A simple and thorough video. THANKS!

You're welcome, Tom! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!
I love Michael's videos- like others have said, he is a true pro. My question is what happens when you apply Magic Move to or from a video? I ask because whenever I add video clips, they never transition or build smoothly to the next slide.
AWESOME, I totally agree. Your tutotial videos are easy to understand, Thank you MK 🤙
How do you get the "square" to appear on the original shot? Left that out, and it's kinda needed.
Magic Michael! ⭐ Thank you!
I love your work! I love your voice! I have learnt so much from you. Thank you for your content! Long time subscriber ❤️
Hi Michael, I cant see magic move in my keynote. But all other effects are amazing. By the way is it possible for me to choose a portion of the image and animate
Amazing tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial…so awesome! I do have a question on the Ken Burns effect. How do you zoom in closely on the first slide?. I’m not understanding it completely…thx!
You're a great teacher! (from a former high school teacher who now teaches adults) Thank you!
Mr. Kinney, I just discovered your videos and what great timing. I have a new iMac and wanting to make some Christmas videos for my family. I really like your approach and speed. Perfect. Thank you.
Literally, very illustrative! Thanks!
Awesome, as always! Thanks, Micheal!!
Cool. Helpful 🙂
Great!💪🏼
Michael, your videos are wonderful. THANK YOU so much for this amazing resource! One thing about this video: In Keynote 10.3.8 (maybe earlier, I don't know), "By Character" does not require each letter to be in its own text box (that would be the same as "By Object"). PS. "By word" also doesn't require individual text boxes, but you didn't say it did; this is just for anybody reading the comments. :-)
Michael, I could kick myself for no having learned this year ago Thank YOu ! Subbed too!
Easy and helpful explanation
This video was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Mike, really useful as always. Thank you again
Thank you so match I going to try the keynote videos in to my rv vlogs 👍
