Michael, your channel is so much better than the typical KZread tutorial. Its like having professional series to walk you step by step. Im a beginner and your channel has been a godsend. Subbed, and looking forward to more videos. Would love to see more creative adaptations for some of these techniques for the less artistic among us. My mind doesnt always make the leap from technique to creative application! Thanks for these videos Mr. Kinney!

MatthewMMcQuade it’s less about being creative than it is about really understanding what you’re presenting and how best to do so. You can really overdo these effects and kill the effectiveness of your presentation.

I agree as well. Thanks for the clarity AND most of all the speed with which you talk and demonstrate. I find many videos irritating because elements like volume, rate, pitch, and the movements of the speaker extremely distracting or hard to follow. Michael, you're excellent at all of those elements of presentation. You help me learn. Thanks.

Michael, I have seen several of your videos now, and I can honestly say, your teaching style is unmatched on KZread! You have certainly mastered teaching via videos with just the right amount of technical depth while pacing your narration to entry level viewers yet holding the attention of faster learners. I look forward to seeing much more of your surperb work!

First I want to thank you for this video. The way you speak is very clearly and very good to understand for not English speaking people. I'm from the Netherlands, 72 years young and I love to learn all about programs like KeyNote. Last year I started my own youtube channel and now I may learn a lot from you how to make it more exited. Again...THANK YOU.

Michael, your videos are wonderful. THANK YOU so much for this amazing resource! One thing about this video: In Keynote 10.3.8 (maybe earlier, I don't know), "By Character" does not require each letter to be in its own text box (that would be the same as "By Object"). PS. "By word" also doesn't require individual text boxes, but you didn't say it did; this is just for anybody reading the comments. :-)
