I've never had it .. just bought one from my bakery.. I know I'll love it, but wow it seems like s big task if I were to make my own, and I Love cooking.

I decided to try this recipe because, based on the video and the thumbnail, it looked like the texture of Keylime pie that I prefer and the recipe seemed very simple and fool proof. I absolutely love it. I’ve made this pie twice already and plan to use this recipe going forward. You won’t be disappointed!

the best thing in doing this recipe is using only two whole eggs instead of three or four egg yolks. it works very well and it's so much intelligent.

My dad grew up eating my grandma's key lime pie (she's from Sanford FL) and he says this is his favorite /closest to hers. Im too young to remember hers but I love this recipe

Key lime pie has an interesting story, supposedly beginning in the early 20th century when refrigeration was scarce. Sweetened condensed milk was used a lot in cooking, especially on fishing boats. Legend has it that the famous pie was created with what the Florida sponge fisherman had on hand: sweetened condensed milk, limes and crackers. Even at sea, there’s time for comfort food.

Just made this. Cant wait to try it!!!!
