Dave, very nice recipe & you know it is a yes with the girls & the broccoli & us , I don't think I would add anything to the recipe except we like a smoked sausage called Hillshire Farms.some French bread on the side , buttered & we are set. I may miss some posts in the next 2 months with all we have going on , & moving about 20 miles south of here plus I need a back surgery cataract removed from my right eye , keep your stick on the ice pal

i used to make these when i was a new wife. it was cheap and so good. my husband walked by and saw the video and said "why don't you make that anymore." i honestly don't know why i stopped. they're so tasty.

I make mine without all the additions. But I do heat up a small pot of whipping cream and grate some parmesan cheese in the creme, then pour it into the bottom of the dish before topping with the whipped egg whites. sprinkle a little parm in the egg whites while beating. Delish.

why do i always get spots on the onions where the batter doesnt hold bread crumbs? i feel like double dipping would be too much.
It’s sometimes the membrane on the onions. I often remove mine. It’s a pain though. It depends on the type of onions too.

I think I can do this tonight Dave. My one favourite is sausage and onions and potatoes chopped and all fried up and seasoned. Then I put some salsa on it and get it all simmered up. Tastes really nice and a simple dish.

Just made something like this today..just used canned diced potatoes, canned mixed veggies, for seasoning i used a packet of taco seasoning..so good and filling
